    Had mine a few days now. Not a ton of seat time but.. Yes the wheel is a bit plastic on the top, but where you hold it it's fine. The controls are def a bit cheap feeling which I don't care as long as they hold up. The wheels force feels all the 7.2nm. And I have to say that so far it's very accurate, lots of detail and enough force for this entry level DD that I can say I really like it. It's quiet, smooth and just works and feels good. The pedals are interesting. The throttle is a bit long but it hasn't effected my play at all and once i'm in the zone i don't even notice it. The brake however.. It is very short and hard. The settings come on medium sensitivity and if you leave it there your leg will hate you quickly. I switched to high and now it's decent. You don't have to presss super hard to get max braking. The screen data is PC only, no surprise. But who is even looking at that anyway. It does show bars of the pedal percentage and what you're activating. Good to test and see if all is working properly I suppose. I'm going to put it to some use for a few weeks and see if I'm keeping it or not. But so far I'd say it's priced a tad high for what it is, but if it doesn't fall apart it's a decent setup for the causal player such as myself.

    • @Jaymobe07
      @Jaymobe07 7 месяцев назад +1

      I say its priced appropriately considering you get a button panel, load cell, a wheel with analog paddles, 7.2nm motor(if it holds up), and a larger display. Heck i think i paid $400 or $500 for the ts-pc open wheel 4 years ago and that didnt come with pedals lol. But i think that was the strongest non-dd base you could get at the time. I agree with the brake setting, i switched mine to high as well. I prefer the longer throw on the gas pedal. I think there are enough buttons on the wheel and would have prefered a shifter over the panel box. Or has prices on DD setups really lowered over since i've looked lol

      @@isaiyuh1449 Turtle beach doesn’t mess around when it comes to letting you know they have zero Fks for their customers.
      I preordered this wheel and got it the day after launch. I excitedly opened everything up and carefully put everything together and fired it up on my pc. I turned dirt rally 2.0 on, and none of the buttons worked. *that’s okay - I’ll just map them manually* except after mapping manually it loses all force feedback and it’s a flimsy wheel with zero feel.
      I went to ask Turtle beach customer support for help, but since it was a new product they did not have any intel on how to trouble shoot.
      They told me to update the firmware to the latest version, and I followed to do so in hopes that it would become a better experience. Just kidding. All pedal input is dead after firmware update and won’t even show up on any of the HUD displays either on the unit itself or on the software on my pc.
      Once again I contacted the support team and they told me to submit a ticket for troubleshooting and it’s been 2 days without a peep from them. You’d think they would have at least one person dedicated to handling a new product launch, but the economy is blah blah blah.
      TLDR; NOT WORTH IT and you’ll get zero support. Just go with a reputable company. Even Moza is doing great things for the same amount of money. But in the end I’m settling for a Logitech g pro with trueforce, so in a way that’s a win for me. So in that regard - I have some gratitude for the horrible experience.

Certain elements of the wheel are probably meant to be certain way, like the wheel clutches don't need to be clicky and the dials are perhaps for a certain use case. I cant believe they didn't send any units to any large channel. I have this but its my first direct drive and just want to know how it compares. I wish the wheel wasn't leather as it gets slippery if you dont use gloves. Loads of buttons which is big improvement over my ts-pc. The dash resolution isn't the greatest but it is clear enough to do its job. Able to make adjustments to pedals and base while in game is cool. I do have the cheaper fanatec load cells. The throttle and clutch feel nicer on this setup. I'm pretty inconsistent with the brake though. Does seem to have a small section of deadzone in the brake but i cant remember if that is normal on the fanatecs. Haven't raced in a long time so i have a lot of rust. Playing AC.
