The day has finally come to dyno test uncle rob with the 4l80e swap! We didn't upgrade the fuel pump on purpose..FOR SCIENCE!! We want to test and see how much the stock pump can handle before you need to upgrade to a bigger one! How much power can you safely run on one? Find out here!

I’m so pumped to finally feel the power in this thing. So crazy to sit there feeling the turbo light off knowing I sat in that same seat as an 8 year old wiggling the steering wheel pretending to drive it. Bought to get my 69 Chevy C10 back up. Actually you have reignited my interest in my original street project. 1969 C10 heavy half ton. Camel humps, Preformer cam and intake, 1406 4barrel, headers with dual exhaust + crossover.

Real world diy low budget upgrades for science . Love it . You should run uncle Rob up to Oklahoma and race Farmtruck for $100 once you get the fuel pump in . Probably be a good race .
Gah dang man. Watching the Uncle Rob build is making me want to build my Tahoe up. Here lately I’ve had the wild hair of making it into a race truck for events like The Silver State Classic. Long distance and high speed sounds like a hoot in one of these.

I absolutely love this build. I thought I was going to be the first turbo suburban with my build I’ve been working on very slowly the last 2 years. To see you do it with much less than I’ve done, is amazing. Maybe one day after I finish my own suburban, that’s been dubbed Big Nasty, we can line up at a strip and see who’s faster

Hey Mitch! I just wanted to say that it's because of you and your escalade and this channel that I am currently building a turbo charged obs 99 yukon, it's been about 3 months in the making but I am just a day or 2 away from starting it up! Run of the mill 5.3, texas speed cam, valve train goodies etc other then that stock lm7 I just did a basic rebuild on it, hand built the hot and cold side and popped it in. Thank you for the inspiration and motivation, everyone always asks.. why an obs yukon and I say WHY NOT?! 4 doors, seats 6 if you want, What's not to love about it! Keep up the good content buddy!
Dang-it Mitchell. I'm 50 years old and after hearing "Uncle Rob", I wanna put (have one put) a turbo on my stock 2014 Silverado. I guess once a hot rodder, always a hot rodder.
I’m more motivated than ever to get another 02 Denali XL and do this. I bought a beautiful one when I graduated high school in 2011 with the 6.0 and I loved that thing. I put 3 transfer cases in it during the 5 years I owned it but I took it mudding and towed tractors and skid steers with it...ya know, central Michigan farmboy stuff 😆 this year....it’s happening!!

My 04 Suburban was built at the Janesville, Wisconsin plant but my 07 Escalade ESV was built at the Arlington plant

Reminds me of a Vega we built for a small local track in Atmore, Al. back in the day and how much trial and error we went thru makin' it faster and faster... I pretty much got out of racing after that til some years later when an old friend called for my help. He mistakingly thought he had time off for a hip replacement and after having the surgery, found out that to keep his point standings with the NHRA, his car had to run that weekend at Hub City in Hattiesburg, Ms...
Even though an exploding rear end proved fatal for the car on my 5th pass, (how it didn't prove the same for me is anybody's guess), it was worth climbing back into a race car again... even if just for one evening... I rolled that car at 238 m.p.h., putting on one HELLUVA show for the people there...
I left out a lot of the details to keep it from being boring, just keep doing what you do and know that there are some people, from the newbies younger than you, to us old fuckers who just can't do it anymore, that live vicariously through people like you...
