I met Bernie, I was working security at the building the jail scene of Soul Men was shot. Bernie was so kind to me. A nobody, he came up to me and started a conversation with my white a$$. My cheeks hurt the next day from grinning and laughing. That was my experience. Of course I owned Kings of Conedy on VHS, seen Life and the Bernie Mac show. Was already a huge fan! But after those couple of days, is the reason I shed tears when I heard that he had passed.
I think Steve Harvey has done a good job at staying in HIS lane. He already said in so many words that Bernie and others were funnier than him so I don't knock him for sticking to TV and radio where he can shine. He's definitely a good host

I went to the KINGS OF COMEDY SHOW in ATLANTIC CITY. The line up was DL, CED, Bernie, then steve with Guy Torry Hosting. BERNIE was so funny the crowd was crying lol!!! Steve came on and stunk the place up to the point he and his body guard was trying to fight the crowd. People asked for there money back it got so bad. After that i steve was the host and BERNIE WAS THE ANCHOR going last. Had Steve been the funniest he wouldve continued wanting to go LAST. THE LAST UP IS NORMALLY THE TRUE KING!!!!! RIP B.MAC.....KING!!!!!!!!

Bernie said Steve tried to steal a show under him. He confronted Steve and told him off. He told Steve their friendship was done. He said he told Steve he couldn't trust him anymore. Bernie told the story of him and Steve Beef. Like he said, Steve is not to be trusted.

Everybody is talking about Katt Williams but I already remembered the story of Steve calling Steven Soderbergh to get Bernie’s role. That’s why my ears perked up when Katt brought that up.
Soderbergh said Steve told him "I'll do a better job for less." Soderbergh said he's never laughed so hard in his entire life! He said Bernie was making him laugh, and he wasn't even telling jokes/trying to be funny.
I appreciate and respect Steve's honesty. He knew where his lane was even when doing the Kings Of Comedy. Listen to how many times he said it was difficult to follow Ced, DL and Bernie, He knew he could hang with them but he knew that hosting was a better fit for him. He could tell some jokes in-between each comedian coming out.
I'm not close to a fan of Steve however this was kind of enjoyable. His tone was different his mannerisms were as well. I normally get a headache listening to him speak.

Most of Steve Harvey's routine was dissing the audience, telling us how country we were. I can tell you he was the 4th funniest comedian that night. I have not checked for him since.

Real talk. I was blessed to see this man in Augusta the last time he did a show. His comedy shows are legendary. Ive seen Martin Lawrence, Dave Chapelle, Mike Eps and Steve Harvey live. BEST SHOW hands down

Steve Harvey is funny, a great storyteller, and consistent. He is hilarious on Family Feud. I've seen it live several times. He is a natural. He's not for everyone but that's my opinion.

I don’t feel that Steve hated on Bernie or Ced, he just wanted the Kings to have the best product possible and that would take a collective vs individual efforts. Presentation is everything! Great exercise of humility Steve. That was required for their success!
