Hi all - thank you for being here for my story. It truly means the world to have visibility on sacral agenesis. I am facing everyday battles with discrimination and seeking social justice! I’m not receiving support from the state, so any contribution would be a tremendous help as I continue this fight for equality and accessibility. 🔗 www.gofundme.com/f/medical-devices-mobility (www.gofundme.com/f/medical-devices-mobility)
I do similar as Warren mentioned. You have to use the door handle as basically your one push rims. I'd suggest attacking the doors from more of an angle, too. You seem to approach it too far away, or straight on and this will kill momentum. At 0:30, see how far and right of the door you are? Try approaching it on an angle from the other side, swipe your card, grab the door with your left hand and pull it open with you moving backwards. Now use the door handle, like it's your push rim and pull yourself through. Good luck.
Good thing she is able to open doors... gee whiz that's alot of doors to go through / When i open a door the first thing i do is push or pull the door while keeping my other hand on my wheel. That way i can either push or pull as needed. Makes it easier to open the door then just grabbing the door or door jams to get in or out. But that's just how i do it.
@@EnjoyingWhitePrivilege just because I live in an overpriced home doesn’t mean it wasn’t intentional; it’s close to everything, great community and it was the right fit for the time that I need. I shouldn’t have to MOVE and repack ALL my things because your opinion is informing me to do so. I’m a fighter and will ride this out properly to have the justice that I am entitled to. Your username says it all ;)
