The tree is so pretty! and the fence makes it even better! My favorite part of this is when you said the tree could use more lights but the kids were ready to decorate it now. You are setting such a great example, showing that your kids are way more important than things being absolutely perfect. More parents need to be like you!
Falon, just a tip for next year. String your lights vertical from top to bottom, and you are not wasting lights that are in the back that no one sees. Unless you are putting in your windows. Also, if a light goes out its easier to get the string off, if needed. I got that tip from someone that decorates for a living. Also, I have you thought about warming your pancake syrup up in the microwave for a few minutes? We love our Syria warm. You can do in the decanter you use, just be careful the glass is hot when you take out. Only needs 30-45 seconds.
Just a thought I would get a few bells to put on the bottom branches just in case Little Man decided to mess with the tree. They will look pretty so couldn't hurt.
