Great review. I've had this watch for two years. Like you said, strictly speaking, not exactly a field watch - the shiney glass and metal could catch the eye of a good sniper at night. Great everyday watch. Rarely have to reset the time. I changed the straps - I change the color every month, with simple nylon nato bands. Cheers
Thank you for the comment. I wonder how long the original strap lasts? I mean before the leather underneath cracks or something like that. Also does the polished case catch scratches easily? Thank you again!
@@sixtickspersecond i used the strap for one year before changing. No cracks in the leather. The quality of the strap is good, but in my opinion the metal studs on the strap holes do not match the look of the watch. The metal is good, no scratches, but one scratch on the glass which I am sad about !
@@sixtickspersecond only thing i wish was different on the watch, besides the strap, is the hours and minutes arms - i wish they were solid instead of half filled in. Makes it a bit tricky to read the time sometimes, as the minutes and hours arms can look similar in length.

У меня из той же серии, только черный pvd корпус и оформление чуть другое. Отличный синий люм, прочное pvd покрытие. Ну и стекло прочное, сильно приложился о железную переборку, осталась еле заметная царапина.

Что-то не нахожу уже. Можно не только Citizen bm8188 смотреть, но и bm8180. Ну или что-то другое, вроде bm8476
А есть ли модели такие же, но с большим диаметром?
Ну есть разные, вроде Citizen BM8476-23EE и других, которые 42 мм.
