Still sad that they seem to have really stopped....anyone out here looking for something similar: try "without any words" from '68 tough, it's at least something ;P
My cousin rocks, love this video!!!! Yay Kamara, Grandma Jackie is just proud from heaven, all your music avenues have been fantatsic, always looked up to you, eben as an adult...bless
@@ron2b2 Hi. I did a lot of digging for the bands whereabouts now. I used to have Madden 2008 and Burnout Paradise (two of my favorite video games from when I was a child) and SOS was on both games. I stumbled upon this when taking a trip down memorial lane. Great band that needs recognition. Not so good news. I checked many forms of social media. No dice except for a pretty inactive facebook page, with a performance from 2018 and nothing more recent than that. There is also a small following on spotify, spotty views here, and a very blank website for this band. I'm very afraid that they have faded into obscurity since even the internet has little signs of them Now it's not all bad. Nostalgia is a huge market now and if someone posts the right thing with this music on it, it inadvertently puts thousands (or millions) of people onto this band and we see a sudden interest. Anything is possible now, and I'd like to use their songs in videos as well. I hope we see more of them soon, because they are gems. Period.
Saw this on Beavis & Butt-Head. This song is bad ass and that chick's voice is really melancholy and unique. I like the harmonies and musicianship as well, and will listen to more of this band.
Beavis and Butt Head brought me here. Y'all might be sick and tired of hearing that, but it's positive because I'm glad it did, this is an awesome song!
TheMetalhead678 The problem is no one cares what brought you here, you should have just written the last part of that post, about it being an awesome song, which it is.
- You wanna come over and eat some soup ? - You're not gonna make us listen to that song again, are you? - Maybe just while it's heating up - You call this soup, woman ? - Go to the store and get me some, Progresso. BIOTCH !
Been following this band for awhile now and it is such sweet relief to hear such solid rockness- and to see such a well directed video in combo. ROCKIN 123!@#
My recommendations like to throw me these things too--a long defunct band I never heard of, who somehow managed to release a perfect song without getting the recognition they deserved and then faded away. Would have loved to have been aware of them back when.
@@johnbarrie447same here, so unfortunate 😕 this song is definitely perfect though. If you haven't seen it you should find on RUclips the video where these guys are in an interview and play this song on a balcony, absolutely amazing.
Just saw them at Park Ave CD's in Orlando (best record store in the world!) They did a live acoustic set and performed this song. First time hearing them, I was hooked instantly. Bought the CD and talked to them after the show they are so nice! Talking to Matt I mentioned I am a huge Soundgarden fan and he pulls out an autographed pick from Chris Cornell (they used to open for him) and gave it to me! Best moment ever! I'm officially a fan, these guys rock!! (Not just because of the pick :P)
This song is great in so many regards. It's exciting to see artists who break the cultural & musical moulds that society has created over the last few decades - heartily salute these talented black musicians giving new life to a traditionally white hick dominated genre (don't flame, I'm white and from the midwest). The original hard-rock/blues bands I fell in love with year ago (Zepellin, Cream, Doors) had that swinging jazz feel that black musicians seem to be born with. Only in America...
I love this video. The song was definitely one of my favourites (if not my favourite) off of the new album. I look forward to many years of sweet jams in the future. =3
@blacklabelnc same here...watchin that latest ep, and seeing this vid and song i actually forgot i was watching a RECENT episode....this sounds like 90's music...live, soundgarden, pearl jam, jane's,...ect...
I don't have anything really like this in my catalog, but Spotify took me here lmao. This is dope, I listened to some of their other's songs, fucking bangers.
just saw them at the Siren Festival at Coney Island and they were FUCKING AWESOMEEEEEE!!! that chick has such an ora on stage it has to be seen to be believed..
Okay, I just began to like a band from "modern times" and I'm still too late...my taste of music would seem to suck if mainstream was in charge but...oh f * c* k mainstream is the rule, so thanks to bands like earl greyhound for keeping music alive
I fucking love this song. I travelled. I was a USMC. I had the cops looking for me...this song...Is about being a Anti-Hero. And never giving up...even though people want you to be great like they see you..Not what you want to be...You want to be free...Always. Semper Fi.
Amazing song! I don't get the beavis and buthead reference, but it is probably featured there, can't be arsed to look it up. However, does anybody else think she sounds like Brandon Boyd, although with a better(slightly) better voice?
Kamara I am in love with this bass line, and am trying to learn it. I can't find bass tabs for it anywhere. Can somebody please help me out with the tabs? I'm terrible at transcribing 🙏 this band is so talented ❤
Anyone know if a band did a cover of this song or something? This song came up in my Spotify Weekly playlist and I swear I've heard the chorus to this song before, but it a totally different type of song or music.
The Spotify “Discover Weekly” algorithm is the goat
YESSSSSS

@Blah Anger Great to hear. But aww I hope they make more music together.
Cool
Saw this on Beavis & Butt-Head. This song is bad ass and that chick's voice is really melancholy and unique. I like the harmonies and musicianship as well, and will listen to more of this band.
Spotify led me here..one of the best songs ever.
Released in 2010, only to be found in 2021. Yes, I've been leaving under a rock.
You are not alone.
This has such a mid-90's sound. I fucking love it.
That bass....oh dear....perfection.
The opening of this song is a vibe on it's own.
Damn discover blessing all of us up huh
Goosebumps. This band is the literal “needle in the haystack”
Beavis and Butt Head brought me here. Y'all might be sick and tired of hearing that, but it's positive because I'm glad it did, this is an awesome song!
same here. It's sounds so early 90's grunge! Too bad a lot of their other material isn't that good.
TheMetalhead678 The problem is no one cares what brought you here, you should have just written the last part of that post, about it being an awesome song, which it is.
Me too.
:o
What?
I love this song, thank you EarlGreyhound and B&B! I might listen to "bury my soul at wounded knee" now.
- You wanna come over and eat some soup ?
- You're not gonna make us listen to that song again, are you?
- Maybe just while it's heating up
- You call this soup, woman ?

Damn! I haven't listened to any band this much for years! What a great piece of music! I wonder why I didn't know about them much earlier...

They can lay those guitars and vocals down... fierce and powerful.

Love this. There’s bits of his vocals that sound like The Cranberries would’ve sang. This song is so dope.
nirvana, incubus and alanis morrissette influences come to mind straight away but I like their own unique style and I bet they'd be amazing live
I miss this band so badly.
