I'm torn on buying between mini 2 se and mini 3 pro as I only be using it whenever I'm on vacation which is only 1 month in every 5 months. Your video helped me to decide that mini 2 se is all I need. Awesome video.
Seemed to drift quite a distance from the windmill whilst doing the orbit ? It ended up a long way back from it as it circled round to the start point 😉😉
Rob...have you or could you possibly do a video about the photo features on the drone. In particular Sphere, I tried it, it took loads of photos but I couldn't see the photos as a Sphere, any ideas Cheers in advance

I did fly my mini 2 se at 2300 meters.. windy condition and it did handle it well.. just do not fly distances more than 1km and around 70 meters high and you should be fine...
Robin, you are doing so much with the 2se, and I know you are considering the 3pro, but to be honest, just get your license (presuming you haven’t done that yet) and get the new Air3 sometime in the next year or so. The gimbal does a good job of keeping the images steady in those winds. Btw, what is your main recording camera for these videos? GoPro, Insta360, DJI Action, or something else??
So the trouble with the air 3 is here in the UK. If the drone is over 250g, there are a lot of places you can't fly over, including Residential, Recreational, Commercial, Industrial, People! Roads, the list goes on.. I have changed my mind on the mini 3 Pro for now. I'm just sticking with the mini 2 se. As for my main recording camera, it's a dji action 3. So it's not the most amazing picture, but I love it as it has a removable battery and is very rugged. I did own the Dji pocket 2 for a while, and although it had slightly better image quality, I just felt it was too delicate, not waterproof, and the battery was non removable, so I took it back and got the action 3 😁. Good to see that the quad can handle the wind. Would that much wind affect the return to home by much?
It would if you flew out with the wind and didn't try to come home until the warning, then it may not make it back, I wouldn't like to try.

Yes, that makes 2 of us! Do you use the UAV forecast app? It's good. I'd recommend it if you don't already use it.

Is your drone painted or does it have tape on it?
It was a vinyl wrap
