I Survived 100 Days in Hardcore Minecraft and here is what happened. Not Modded Minecraft. No Mods. Not Speedrunner Vs Hunter, More like Survivalist Vs Hunter but to the extreme. Skyblock, One Block, UHC/Ultrahardcore none of these. Just Hardcore Minecraft. Not 1.17 caves and cliffs update 1.16. Not Dream SMP or School SMP. Lifesteal SMP.

you could've used the skulk for xp. you can use the hoe on it so you break it faster. Also, you could've crafted golden carrots with the nether gold

Those "deep dark grass" things are called sculk & yup you do get xp from breaking them but it's not the worth.
