It's good to see you in the driver's seat doing a new crank and start video. I appreciate it.

I had a blue one conversion it rotted out bad. but the engine and tranny work great. Grand ma had to hold the back doors closed.

Cool beans! I had to chuckle when you didn't know the shift pattern, but then, this van was made before you were born. These are the era of vehicles that I worked on regularly when I was an auto tech back in the day.

It's kinda funny that someone added in that aftermarket floor shift. It's in a super awkward spot too

Rockin! Love those old vans. I have a 85 Econoline and love driving that beast around.

If that is a 300 cu in strait 6 its got some serious low end torque. I had a 66 ford pickup with that same set up

Yup , it's the 300. She's pretty wore out. Smokes good. But it still runs which is impressive

Don't trash it. It has boogie van potential.

Dang , your too late. I already scrapped it. I did save all the good parts though. Engine, transmission, rear end, doors and stuff like that

    Can’t hear anything you’re saying… bugs are too loud…. I’m buying a van that’s been sitting 22 years… it’s only got like 40,000km on it.

What would something like that go for? Free lol

Shame about the title. But practically everything can be reused so there's that LOL. Ford guys have always said after the nuclear holocaust the only things alive will be roaches and 300's. I'd add SB Chevy/Ford/Mopar too. I've had clapped out high mile engines of all 3 that would start on a single twist and run.....provided you kept dumping oil into them. Haha. Smokers.

Yeah this one is definitely a smoker. It'll keep the mosquitoes away
