TEXarium being messed up by Tundra Homestead was a bummer but its easily fixed by removing Tundra Homestead. You dont need to use the janky Fix to sort it.
I dont know why but the vast majority of people dont seem to realise you can simply remove any AE mod from your game by deleting the ESL and BSA file for the mod. If you ever want to use it again you can just download it again for free because you already own it. I have talked to so many people that didnt know that was possible or honestly thought they would have to buy it again if they did.
I know a few people already said you can get rid of CC mods here but I noticed none of them actually said HOW to get rid of them so I thought I would for anyone that was wondering.
Ever since bethesda added tundra homestead to its official order, how do you disable it?
this only applies to pc players. For those who play on Xbox or PlayStation consoles, the CC mods cannot be removed/disabled once they are activated

I got Solstice after watching your video (you are now the go to for any new home i might be interested in). Not disappointed in the least. Solstice is a keeper. Still keeping Elysium though, because that one was my first REAL upgrade from Lakeview Manor.
I did find it a bit hilarious that you are giving us the realtor's tour of Guardian's overlook with all the dead bandit corpses laying about.

TeXarium comments have a fix for Tundra Homestead - I've used it for other mods, some far away, that Tundra messes up. As a warning escape the headman, Save the game, then eliminate the two files. That's it. great video!

Solstice Castle, great times, one of my best and longest play through.
Elysium Estate, my current home gonna switch to Moddor's Manor because of the new kids room. Don't play it very active these days.
TeXarium looks great. I never tried this one.
All these were brilliant. At first l just wanted to listen to your voice , rough migraine and believe it or not , your voice helps , but at the end l ended up getting my sketchpad and making some crafting notes for my daughters gaming group.

I am suffering from validation overload as you confirmed my own picks. I agree with your assessment and it is NOT just because I got all of them based on your advice. Well,....... maybe it is, but still you can't go wrong following good advice. Even when I have so many homes in my game that the lights in my house dim as my computer spins up to load them all, Elysium, TeXarium and Solstice Castle are in my world. Legacy of the Dragonborn is a major commitment and I load it even if it takes me ages to get to it and Guardian's Overlook has justified its name because I have overlooked it in the past but thanks to you I am taking steps now to correct that. My lights might dim but they haven't gone out so one more house can't hurt....probably.

As someone who's very new to modding and player homes, the creativity and architecture of these homes are inspiring and really really pretty. I think Elysium is my favourite. Not seen any of these before but I'm going to install that one and check it out now! I've always enjoyed vanilla Skyrim but I've experimented with some overhaul and QoL mods and it's reignited my flame for this gorgeous game once again! I've intended on building my own player home in Creation Kit, but it remains to be seen how far along I'll get with handling the engine lol.
Seeing as you already cover mods and homes, I'm sure you've heard of Home in a Hat mod. If not, it's definitely worth checking out. Very small, cozy one-room portable home you carry around with you.

Love Solstice Castle. It's a staple for my games. Only wished it had a farm area on the outside. I know I'm being picky because it is a great mod. I think Stormwatch Castle is my new "go to".

Dragonborn Gallery. One of my favorites! I've never been able to fill it up though. I always end up starting a new playthrough because I'm always looking for one more mod. Just one more... 😅 The curse of playing modded Skyrim.😂

I managed to convert Guardian's Overlook to SE with minimal clipping so I was happy. But of course now it has to be LofD. Can't wait for Odyssey to be released.

Clockwork Castle is a personal favourite of mine. It's got a great quest line to actually take possession of the house. A bit creepy to start off.

tex Arium clashing with the mine home near white run but there are a few mods that will allow you to have both and they are related to the ANNE npc mods as it edits a few areas near the homes to tweak where they are and where they end the only thing that may still clip is the mine entrance but its not that bad and can be worked around in fact using a Custom version of the build your own mods i joined them both via a massive stone wall and fully blocked off the area around them

Well there is a bunch of reasons why Elysium Estate is always in each and every load order that i make and we saw it here.
Texarium clashes with the mediocre Tundra Homestead from CC, like many other mods, but there are ways around it, as you can get rid of THS and every other CC mod you dont want. ;)

You'll need to check where you're getting them from - I'm a PC channel so you'd need to look at where you get your mods from to see if they have it for your platform.

Solstice Castle is pretty good... in fact, it is excellent.... in all ways except one: Location.
I was never more disappointed in a house than this one, due to that. It has to be accessed from the Rorikstead side, sitting up where it does, which means going around a long way, if coming from Markarth... and seriously... it is not even close to Rorikstead really either. It has an identity crisis in that regard... is it a Witherun player home, or a Reach player home? It is centrally located to both, meaning it is centrally located within neither.
I am certainly NOT going to live way out there... and I tried out as a follower home, as I do all my custom homes save Skyfall Estate, which is my eternal 'Family home'.....but it does not really function as one very well at all. It is too far from Whiterun to move any of those followers in to (I normally batch my followers by start locale.. so Jenassa, Uthgred, Lydia, and Aela, would all be in one house somewhere around Whiterun for example).... and too far from Markarth to move Cosnach, Eola, et al, in to it.
I guess Erik the Slayer feels kind of special having all those guards and pretty sorceresses all to himself, but it otherwise sat close to enough Rorikstead that even on survival, you could make it to the latter heading from the north, or to Dragon's bridge, or even Markarth, leaving from the south, so did not even act as a necessary 'Coaching Inn' in that mode.
Everything is pretty amazing, definitely, though there truly should have been no separate cell for the master bedroom, with that space being use, but it worth noting that whilst it truly is all which is said in this video, it is also in a pretty silly locale, when moving much closer to Whiterun or Markarth would have just about made it a PERFECT mod.
Solistice Castle always seemed to be more of a manor than a castle, always preferred Shadowstar Castle over it

Simply because of the home situation(I was only 20 hrs anyways pfft)I ended up deleting the anniversary upgrade, deleting and reinstalling the game(after deleting all my saves first and backup data) I think I finally have the perfect setup as long as I did everything properly...still working on my load order and finessing the mod list from my previous experience and wants, but if it works I'll keep everyone updated it might help someone else too
