My favorite SkyRim reviewer. Hard to resist adding another mod after I've seen another of your videos :) A note on something you mentioned. There's a reason Selibrio has two Deeds to Heljarchen Farm. The second Deed is available if you want to keep one. Expensive piece of paper, but that's why it's there. I bought both the first time, just because I didn't want Selibrio to have a copy of the Deed, and I had plenty of gold. After I'd built enough of the Farm I went to store the Deeds. And only found one in my inventory. QuickSave, then reloaded an autosave from exiting WhiteRun. Went through the process again, checking for two Deeds along the way. "prepare for construction" consumes a Deed from your inventory. That step is when I went from two Deeds to one.
I knew about the farm but I had no idea it had been revamped. Thank you for covering it. Almost makes the insomnia that let me see this so early worthwhile.
I’m so sold on this gorgeous mod throw in riverwood falls manor and labatorium just for the style of gameplay I want to have, yea this is gonna be perfect; plus with a few other mods I have installed like the landlord mod I can finally get Nazeem to shut up about his farm!, with this mod he’ll have the second biggest farm in all of Whiterun LOL I’m about to drive Nazeem out of business **Evil Laughter**
Have had a couple of mods, like this one, installed over the years. Blackthorn comes to mind. I love anything that makes Skyrim come alive and this mod actually lets you run a business not unlike Roriksted. Not unlike real life. It does strike me as odd to build a bath on the second floor, given the weight of the masonry and the water. Not a deal breaker, though. Not by an Irish mile.

Febrith, i cannot express with words how much i love your channel and all of your videos. They are mesmerizing! The vibes and the atmosphere is so relaxing, soothing and calming. Can't believe it!! First comment! Usually catch your showcases do very late in the day! Have a great day! This place is extensive, and has all the elements I like in a home. Really appreciate the crafting areas next to each other. Thanks for a wonderful showcase.
Awesome mod, always wanted to have an interactive farm, wish list includes, more planting spots, bigger trees, bushy everything, more lighting specially around the land plots, an enchanting bench outside to complete the shop! I added the pool area but for some reason it ended up way out there an not next to the house, bummer. I was looking forward to jump in it from the top of the house! 😅😅😂👍
I like the shops on the outside of the walls. That's like buying produce at the farm gate in rl. The idea of selling your wares to passersby without letting the riff raff in is a plus so long as they don't lock the gates on me if I leave. I would worry about returning to find the guards standing atop the walls above locked gates hurling Monty Pythonish French taunts and rotten farm produce at me while quaffing my mead. You have convinced me that a fixer upper is a good addition to help level up without the fetch and carry quests that seem like make work projects. The fact that there is so much here makes it a project to enjoy in the building and in the living. Thanks for the tour!
LOL, I love your descriptions! And to be honest, these homes are some of my top favourites to video. It's absolutely a pleasure to build these places and this one especially makes me feel like I'm contributing to Skyrim's economy and being a force for good in the community!
I saw this mod but it was very large and had very few description points, but ...well wow. I am sold. The mod author should have had you do a review right away and would have had loads of people using it. Wonderful home. Thanks
This is gorgeous I always use the version that’s just the farm as a first home before my children. I would need more kid beds but the farm with the manor in Dawnstar is a perfect mix. Or the home in Whiterun
Ah the staple I've been unable to remove from my list. This place is fits - even if you never get around to building it up it just looks like it belongs. I was fine with the original version just down the hill from the 'nilla home but now that house is left wanting... I know this is 2 years old but having just tried this mod a few days ago, i was thrown for a loop when i learned that there is MORE to this mod than just THAT farm or at least i think so. i don't remember installing two different mods from the same author so it has to be the same mod o.O. I had one of my wagon of goods robbed and destroyed on the side of the road near whiterun. When i went to look at it, i could interact with the destroyed wagon and found a note and a landmark to a bandit ridden mine. After a few hours of exploring and clearing out that mine, you can buy the mine deed as well and do the same process. Building up the mine itself and creating another mining town o.o then link the two as a pathway of trade for farming/alchemy goods and even more ore resources from the newly owned mines. Really neat mod honestly. Went from being a bad ass adventurer to probably the most successful business woman in all of skyrim. Think Maven will be mad? lmao. P.s love your videos :) very insightful and help me still to this day, pick out mods that i've missed. Edit: nah i'm just a baka. Apparently this mod author has made 2 mods. the farm and the mine i was talking about. I just dont ever remembering installing his mine mod LOL and the connection between the two mods is flawless. You'd think they both belonged to one mod. My bad!
Hallihallo Feb, you have a wonderful talent. You keep making me smile everytime I watch one of your videos. By the way, are you sure you weren't a gardener in a previous life? As for the mod, I'd have to take a look at it. I hope there aren't too many problems with my current setup. It would be a shame if I thave to remove Legacy of the Dragonborn and some of my other settlement overhauls.
Hihi! thank you:) No problems with LotD so far (I have that one too). My Mum was a keen gardener and so I totally blame her - I actually think I was a cat in my past life - or a fairy - can't decide which :D
Traditional indeed but still, beautifully done and just a wonderful (oh, look, tapestries in the living area...) way to enrich the Skyrim world which every now and then feels a bit empty in its vanilla state. And to answer your question why we keep watching, let me quote Geoffrey Rush from "Shakespeare in love": "I don't know, it's a mystery." 😅😉
I like to use the campfire unleashed mod to plant juniper berries, dragons tongue, mountain flower and snow berries so it's more realistic as a meadary. I also plant veggies
"What you need to make the mead". You were a poet and didn't know it. This is a very fun mod. It does clash with LC Feudal Keep unfortunately, so you definitely have to pick one or the other for your play-through. But this mod is a blast. There is a way into the cellar on the right hand side of the farmhouse as well, at the end of the boarded walk-way. Like you, I get very turned around though, so I always enter by the outside trapdoor and leave by the farmhouse trapdoor. lol
Oh I'm glad it's not just me! I'm amazed by people in real life that always seem to know what direction they're going in, like instantly, it's like they have some magical gift. If the sun's not out for me to refer to and take a guess then I'm screwed LOL.
@@FebrithDarkstar here in the States our homes, even our "flats" tend to be bigger than we actually need. lol That being said, I was MOSTLY joking. lol
Match this with the Loreius Village mod and you have a nice little community. I usually get the farm and meadary up and going with the guards with my own money. Afterwards, I let the profits finance the expansion of it. Just doing a little thing at a time. The money rolls in quite nicely.
I'm such a sucker for "normal people" mods. I know castles and monster mods are super popular, but give me a farm or merchant type mod any day. Also we need more mods with this level of fertile soils. You can never have too many soils. :)
@@FebrithDarkstar yeah, they're both fantastic. I hope in time the mine gets a little more love like the farm did. That tiny cabin that is 'our' personal house at the mine is cute but very cramped. The Heljarchen new revamped farmhouse is downright snazzy.
This I like...a lot🙂 I confess that the mining aesthetic would be more my usual thing...But this is exceptional. Ticks all my just have ( except the water thing..which, like you, I suspect is a glitch or missed stage) I'm going to drop it in my text save and see if in game tho 😎 Something a little whimsical and fun I saw yesterday was the Treasure Chest Home mod...you may have seen or reviewed it already...but if not it may apeal...more of a Xmas cracker gift than the full on glory that this mod is..but a handy mod nonetheless 🙂
I had the farm in LE and at that time I was a little bit disappointed: the living quarters for the owner were more like for a helper with single bed and if you sleep I got only "rested"-bonus. This revamped looks so much better. And you even have a real manor which looks better than the Hearthfire-home. Looks like a place worth living there.
I know what you mean, I've been pondering whether or not to even build the hearthfire home this time - the only one I've actually bothered with so far is Windstad!
@@FebrithDarkstar I have built all three hearthfire homes, and even though Lakeview is in a beautiful place, I have fallen love with Heljarchen Hall the best, mainly because Oriella is the best bard of the three...☺️.... but this farm mod looks super fantastic! I hope someday it will be available for the PS4.🤞
I will have to give this mod a relook because when I tried downloading it in August it sort of ruined the area - like floating structures and missing terrain and all such things. So I hope that this revamped version is better. Though it needs a new game and so I doubt I will try this anytime soon as I am still in my current game. All that said, cool stuff, glad to see this. :)
I installed it right at the end of my game to no ill-effect and definitely no land tearing or anything like that - definitely worth it - risk it for a biscuit!
I love this mod. Only complaint I had with it was the water in the bathroom not working. Supposedly, there is a valve in the underground cave, but I could never find it. Also, FYI, there are a number of choices of banners to activate over the gates (front and back) and in the guard tower.
It's a lovely place, but a word of warning for anyone who wants to download it: there is a critical navmeshing problem with the revamped version that results in CTDs whenever a dragon attempts to land near the farm (which happens quite often). Unfortunately, I haven't found a fix yet. It's sad, because I'd love to put this mod in my next playthrough.
@@FebrithDarkstar Good news: someone fixed Heljarchen Farm's navmesh problem, and Skvindt uploaded their fix recently. The farm is back on the menu, hopefully CTD-free! www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4108
such a nice farm and manor .Don't understand why put kids room in manor when is impossible to move kids in there . bless this home does not work. It's a bummer for such a nicely done manor house and farm.
I definitely think that the improvements in this mod are amazing! Heljarchen Farm, Windstad Mine, and Blackthorn (A Buildable Town) are 3 of the best! Thanks, again, Feb! Even your "miscues" are bonnie (did I use that right?)!
Oh, believe me, I would stay in the little farmhouse, and just because I like leaving these modular homes a bit "unfinished" to be more modest and "working class-y".
Fair enough - there's something for everyone and that's what's so fab about modders - they take care of everything you can imagine and then put a cherry on the top!:D
ive got this farm,it provides the food for the golden hen restaurant mod,ive got the mine which provides the materials for the forge buisness mod where i make n sell armor that i split between there and the drunken dragon shop and it all started with a little adventureing and the my market stall mod..i love these buisness mods
Cant get the mod to work. After buying deed then preparing for construction. The saw horse disappeared. Im stuck and havent found a fix. Will try reinstalling mod.
So is this a different mod from the one I have cause they look like 2 different mods.... does it make a difference what system your using??? Cause I have this mod and It looks nothing like this ... I am on Xbox one
the comments you make while showing off things kill me. my favorites in this video are, "buy the farmers" "he's a good boy" "he's slept in worse place". these were hilarious
This is a mod that I wanted to try for some time but didn't do yet. The comments on the mod page regarding instability and (somewhat less important) conflicts with many of the mods for Helljarchen Manor have kept me from it until now. But it is certainly on my wishlist. Now, do I prefer it compaired to the mine ? I'm not sure. The answer to that will have to wait until I managed to see how well it behaves I guess.
I really hope you have as much success with it as I'm having - I was a bit put off by the comments section of the mod page, but honestly, and as you could see - it was a perfectly well-behaved mod that's given me no trouble at all.
I was stuck. I couldn't figure out what to do next. I see. You start it by accessing a bench. This mod is not too user friendly on how you build stuff. Looks really nice. Trying to build it now. I was wondering what mod causes several of the NPCs to show up at the Dawnstar inn. Like all the merchants that are supposed to be in solitude are in the Dawnstar inn. Very odd stuff. I am trying out JKs Skyrim for the first time and immersive citizens. I must need a patch for JKs Skyrim and Immersive citizens.
Hey Feb, I was wondering what food and alchemy mods you use to be able grow all those cool plants. i have been looking on nexus for some food mods to go with I Need to make cooking a little more fun but havent been able to find anything like yours. Thanks in advance. i love your videos ^_^
Hey Samantha I use a bunch of mods to enable me to plant but the main one being More Growable Plants www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3880 There's also a patch for the Bruma plants which is cool so you can bring back a bunch of those and plant them up here in Skyrim. I also use Khajiit Rito Kalshan and it's add-on plus More Colorful Plant Summons and Reforesting Skyrim - so much fun!:)
It's far enough away from the hearthfire home I'd say not to have any issues (though I've not finished building Heljarchen Hall yet in this playthrough). It would definitely clash with LC's Feudal Keep, as someone else already said - not aware of any other potential mod clashes!

Something a little whimsical and fun I saw yesterday was the Treasure Chest Home mod...you may have seen or reviewed it already...but if not it may apeal...more of a Xmas cracker gift than the full on glory that this mod is..but a handy mod nonetheless 🙂
Thanks! I saw that yesterday and added it to my to-do list:)
Your voice is just heaven ❤️
Lol thanks Brinta:)
Aaaah boo! Thanks for letting us know.
@@FebrithDarkstar Good news: someone fixed Heljarchen Farm's navmesh problem, and Skvindt uploaded their fix recently. The farm is back on the menu, hopefully CTD-free!

@@vulpesinculta3238 Oh very cool! Thanks for sharing;)
such a nice farm and manor .Don't understand why put kids room in manor when is impossible to move kids in there . bless this home does not work.
Sure, why not?!:)
Thanks for posting. I didn't know it existed.
Glad to help:)
Since you love plants and growing, put your fungi garden in that cavern and the rest everywhere else
On this farm, I grow my tomatoes in the green house.
I don't even play as a khajiit and yet I'm the one planting moon sugar.
:XD
Am I the only one who occasionally gets a desire to play Skyrim as a life simulator?
Lol I doubt it:)
Awesome video loved it
Glad you enjoyed it:)
i love your mods i just got castle volkihar redux and rebuild and i love it
Brilliant:)
It was in the cellar! Thank you!
\o/ yay!
@@FebrithDarkstar I agree. This is one of my favourite house mods, so I had to get back to this vid and finish it.
Nice statue of horse in entrance of Whiterun
Wow this looks really good. Especially with those graphical mods, what ENB preset and textures mod are you using?
Hey Calum - no ENB and as for textures I think I only had Noble Skyrim installed at this time.
A nice early small build, income + a few guards and lots of fertile zoil
Yeah I love this place so much:)
The best skyrim houses youtuber! Thank you :)
Where can I get the grape seeds?
HI Sherlock - see my other reply - sorry I've been tardy replying, I've been working today:)
Great BYO..Inigo needs to truly be cloned..such a sweetie pie!!!!
I know right? /melt :D
I wonder is it also for ps5 (or ps4) i love this.
You're vids are very good and i really like to see them.
Thank you!:)
ive got this farm,it provides the food for the golden hen restaurant mod,ive got the mine which provides the materials for the forge buisness mod where i make n sell armor that i split between there and the drunken dragon shop and it all started with a little adventureing and the my market stall mod..i love these buisness mods
Yeah me too, and this one is particularly brilliant:)
lovely video
It's better than florist, you're the boss of a great business!
Lol yes! :)
omg i didnt see the basement...thank you
:D
Cant get the mod to work. After buying deed then preparing for construction. The saw horse disappeared. Im stuck and havent found a fix. Will try reinstalling mod.
2:57 Ironic. I too have the Inigo mod installed, lol.
So is this a different mod from the one I have cause they look like 2 different mods.... does it make a difference what system your using??? Cause I have this mod and It looks nothing like this ... I am on Xbox one
That's right is called the cider house
Thank you for including how you got stuck- I wa stuck on teh same part!
Glad I could help!
the comments you make while showing off things kill me. my favorites in this video are, "buy the farmers" "he's a good boy" "he's slept in worse place". these were hilarious
Awww thanks Zane:)
I love your voice you should do audio books
Thank you!:)
You really should get the cider mod Just type in cider Restaurant.
Hello, I love this.
So glad!
And the dragon born gallery
I was stuck. I couldn't figure out what to do next. I see. You start it by accessing a bench. This mod is not too user friendly on how you build stuff. Looks really nice. Trying to build it now. I was wondering what mod causes several of the NPCs to show up at the Dawnstar inn. Like all the merchants that are supposed to be in solitude are in the Dawnstar inn. Very odd stuff. I am trying out JKs Skyrim for the first time and immersive citizens. I must need a patch for JKs Skyrim and Immersive citizens.
I wish there were more player homes on Solstheim.
My favourite two are probably Svellheim and the Skaal Treehouse:)
@@FebrithDarkstar Thanks :)
Nice more please
@@FebrithDarkstar thank you very much 😊
Is this available on Xbox because the only one I find an Xbox doesn’t look like it’s the updated version
I wish you could move your family there
Tomato plants!
If it earns me money then I like it
And I only got second. Ha ha!
I can’t find it on mod list in ps4
HI!!! you should check out riverwood falls manor it is one that came out a month ago i think.
no ignore me you did already i remember now lmfao
@@TanahBawah Lol yep:)
Thanks
I have a video on my farm on youtube to, i have remade it with ana's mod at ps4 for like 1 week.
Awesome!:)
Where did you find the key to the farm house? mine is locked and requires a key.
You craft it at the workbench IIRC
What mod is this? I can’t find the revamped version on Xbox
Is this version on console? All the added stuff and everything? :) I hope so bout to play again and just do a landlord play through haha
Fingers crossed for you!
couldn't find the revamped version for xbox so guess i'm outta luck....
Awww:(
How does is mesh with the nearby manor and possible mod conflicts?
It's far enough away from the hearthfire home I'd say not to have any issues (though I've not finished building Heljarchen Hall yet in this playthrough). It would definitely clash with LC's Feudal Keep, as someone else already said - not aware of any other potential mod clashes!
Does this interfere with Heljarchin Manor that comes with Hearthfire?
No:)
which is better this or windstaad mine
I've decided I'm a farmer at heart:)
Watched without volume so idk if you answered this, but can you still build the house on it?
Yes the vanilla Hall is nearby
