Hope everyone is having a chill Sunday evening! While there are several more locations I need footage for, it’s been nice spending time on the east side of the river! Enjoy! Stay tuned for the next video! It may not be out this coming weekend but it’ll be great!
That intro shot with your logo was sweet! That horn was awesome! Also, some of the speed and horn sequences would be insanely cool, once a agin, a high quality production, that I'm lucky to see for free!
Not just the house but the bridge too!! Man, if that ain't a Norman Rockwell backdrop. I don't know what one is 😁👍 Hope you got some good shots to be framed. Awesome catches 👏
Good stuff! Glad the depot is still at Newton is still standing strong. From what I remember as a kid, Forest used to produce lots of traffic (mostly pulpwood) during the Midsouth days. Spot where the Ace sat in Jackson is where they fuel and store road units. Lots of history on that line and it sounds like more history will be made soon.
Another great video of the KCS, UP and CN trains you caught! KCS has the good horns like CSX does! Very strong and with a definite warning a train is nearby! Now that you mention that yellow house being in Oh Brother Where Art Though I do remember it bcuz that's one of my favorite movies! Thanks again for sharing your videos along with your time and effort!
The only difference is that in the movie, the bridge over the track was the old 1930 model all-wood trestle. It was replaced a couple of years after the movie was filmed there.
Awesome catches Bishop, pal! This video was uploaded on my birthday yesterday which is amazing! Sorry for not commenting yesterday, was busy as per usual.
When are U going to do a video on the KCS Artesian Sub. I think that Subdivision deserves more attention. I never seen a video on the Artesian Sub in the way that you make your videos, and I think your videos are the best and very helpful.
Yeah, H J baker and bro, while being my favorite industry in Mississippi, it is currently, and unfortunately being demolished. It booming buisness in 2008-2018. After that, the place went bankrupt.

Definitely want to get down to that area and cover it well before the merger!
