I love twisted peppermint. And it’s bc of its cooling aspect. Most people that like it enjoy the cooling. It’s my favorite winter scent. A fun fact u may not know. Coconut mint drop came out in 2017 as a replacement to twisted peppermint but it failed. All I smelt was coconut in it. With a dash of mint. But that’s probably bc I hate coconut. They brung it back 2020 as a returning favorite due to requests.
I don’t usually wear it for the scent as I also prefer it in home fragrance… but I do love having the lotion year-round for if I have body aches or am feeling unwell; the scent helps with nausea or headaches & the cooling effect helps with achy sore muscles. It also feels really good after a hot bath or in the summer when it’s hot out & I want to cool off. It doesn’t burn on my skin, but has just enough of a minty cooling tingle to feel soothing. So I always keep a lotion or two around for those purposes. 😸
Yes sis! I got it last year, used it and was on 🔥 😂fire (the shower gel, lotion and spray) LOL my whole body was burning. I was like wooaahh😅😅😅. I do like the smell, but it’s not back worthy for me. Definitely don’t want another. And if BBW never brought it back ever again… I’m here to tell ya, I WOULD NOT miss it.
BBW needs to bring back Christmas Cocoa & Mint. That was such a great year for BBW. I did pick up Twisted Peppermint in the full sized mist this year as this one does help me with headaches during the winter season which I do get them often during the winter season. This one I like when I'm not feeling well. I think Twisted Peppermint is great for layering maybe with mocha type of scents. I do not get that fire sensation on my skin. There must be something in Twisted Peppermint that does not agree well with you skin.
It has peppermint extract. So u probably didn’t put enough on. If you shower, cream and then spray your body not clothes. It will or should feel like menthol. If you did all of this and didn’t get the cooling sensation. Then id almost guarantee u didn’t use enough. After I put it on I can feel it for hours.
@@Adamnichols780 I don't use the body cream or lotions from BBW as they irritate my skin so I never purchase them. With Twisted Peppermint I only need very little to help me with the headaches. A little goes a long way for me.
@@marymakers Certain fragrances do give me head aches. The powdery note in Japanese Cherry Blossom just gives me a headache, but what is weird Luminous does not. Certain BBW candles give me headaches too like Pink Apple Punch is a killer for me.
Im a peprmint girly. I dont enjoy when its overpowering, like the strong menthol.. no ma'am. Twisted peppermint, for me is right on the edge with that so ill layer with a vanilla to calm it down A little. 1 squirt twisted peppermint with 3 squirts of vanilla is so yummy. I got this idea from a candle called vanilla mint by Aroma. Those chocolate mint scents look soo yummy as well. I cant wait for more winter scents to DROP!!

I’m with you. Not a fan of Twisted Peppermint. It’s smells mentholated and medicinal to me. The only thing I like about it is the pink packaging. A few years back, BBW had an Aromatherapy Peppermint scent at Christmas.

I didn't like the Twisted Peppermint candle, it had a chemical smell to me, but i do love the hand soap. You definitely know you washed your hands. I bought a TP Wallflower as well
I agree it is too much peppermint menthol to wear...I can do one spray on my clothes mixed in with a vanilla or Cookie. scent and thats ok...its great as a bathroom and potty spray!!! Those other minty ones that you have sound sooooo goooood!🥰❤️😘
I wanted to like it but I just can't tolerate peppermint, it starts to burn my throat and nose. I tried the Victoria's Secret Frostmelt which is more like mint cocoa and milder on the mint and the cocoa lingers after the mint goes away which is nice. I think I'll save the twisted peppermint for my sneakers lol

I smell like toothpaste, when I wear it. It's ok for room spray. Very strong. I wish it was 99% Vanilla Buttercream & 1% peppermint😁..then ..I would like it better
I totally agree with you. I enjoy the scent in home care but do not like to wear it. It's SO strong. I don't react to the peppermint oil, it's just too strong and gives me a headache if I can't get away from it after a while.

I too have never really gravitated to Twisted Peppermint, i bought the cream last year and used a bit of it, it was very cooling, so i gave it to my daughter who gets migraines. She says it doesn't help her. I tried the spray in store, at a sale i might try buy it and check it out, maybe mixing it with another would be nice. I did however buy it for the first time in the wallflower plug, i am anxious to see if i like it. Thank you for this review.
I do love Twisted peppermint, but i get the struggle of it making you feel cold lol. I get goosebumps most of the time i put on any mist because I'm so sensitive to cold, and mint definitely makes it worse. I just try not to put it on until i'm good and warm haha
I was hoping you would mention Hempz lotions in Candy Cane Lane and Peppermint Vanilla Swirl. I bought both but haven’t done a comparison yet between these and Twisted Peppermint. It will be fun to find out how they are similar and different!
