Hence the "no holding back." I suspect in the next update, we will see Gura face Ina and it will be the most brutal fight the animation has produced to date.

The Myth can do is keep her distracted until Ame can wind back time to find out what happened to Tomodachi. Fighting an Eldritch god AKA the Ancient Ones is like fighting your immortal, indestructible shadow that exists outside of time. It's not a good idea to piss off Ina.

The creator of Holomyth vs Ina stated that they will make 2 more vids and those will be the Grand Finale. Judging by their release schedule I’d estimate that it will be done by late Spring. This will be EPIC.
at the end there, Gura stabbed herself with her trident to bring forth Red Gura (Gura's original song REFLECT). also the way it is done, is similar to how Dante activates his Sin Devil Trigger in DMC5, and Gura loves DMC series so I like what Mazu did here for her :D also, Happy New Year :)
Well, the thing is that Ina is indeed powerful enough that she's capable of channeling the power of the Ancient Ones (Multiple Eldritch Gods) through her body, hence why she's their Priestess, not merely an apostle but their Priestess, so even Ina alone just severely outranks Council if Sana (an Apostle of the Ancient Ones) is any indication as their member.
Also some background on what happened just before all this, according to someone in the original comment section of the first video: “The voices…. their getting Louder” “Is this another one of your jokes Ina?” “I wouldn’t joke about something like this” “Is there anything we can do?” “Calli, Kiara, Ame, Gura……RUN”
I imagine it as Ina called on more power from the Ancient Ones for some battle, which they won, hence the seemingly empty, evacuated cityscape with existing damage before the fight even started. But Ina sacrificed her control over herself to do so, and the Ancient Ones enacted the plan they'd had since the start, to cull humanity through the body of their avatar.
Hot take: I'm actually glad hololive and by extension cover don't do anything with fanmade stuff. I can't help but feel that there would be more restrictions or issues if they did, so I'm grateful they simply allow it to exist as is.
Haachama has been collaborating with Kanaura quite a bit officially so idk how well this take holds up. The Smol Ame game being approved for play through as well and the fan made don’t starve mods
well i think its because they value the creativity that comes with fanworks plus it can double as a way to scout talented people by seeing what they can do what they can offer. so long as it doesn't clash with legality its a win win for both sides when fans and hololive members join forces amazing things happen. if you want an example of what can be accomplished with hololive members and their fans working together take a look at haachama lore. that insanity was a result of both haatons and haachama working in tandem and haachama went all out in that. sadly you won't get the full experience as if you watched it live. no seriously its not just the atmosphere i am talking about. haachama changed her twitter name her youtube name to match what was going on with the current lore. she changed her behavior on and off stream. she went all out to really sell you that it was two souls in one body. she didn't just tell you the lore SHE ACTED IT OUT. she went into haachama lore with no plan. she took a meme about akai haato is dead and haachama killed her and ran with it. fans then were inspired by this and drew...horror fanworks which inspired haachama and she used them to craft her haachama lore which then in turn further inspired more fanworks. hell a person even made an original song for haachama lore which haachama used for a video. both the fans and haachama inspired each other. sadly due to some jp laws she couldn't finish it like she wanted to and privated those videos for a while but they are now back up. i firmly believe that haachama lore is what paved the way for hololive ERROR. why do i think this? because before haachama lore the most horror we got was the occasional spooky story or yandere asmr. haachama showed Cover that there is a market in the hololive audience for more intense horror content without fanworks many things wouldn't have come to be thus while there are guidelines to fanworks they aren't very restrictive
Hololive do really quite lenient with clippers and fanmade. Fan have almost free reign to use their creativity with hololive members model. The only bad incident that i remember involving fanmade stuff, that one guy try to strike Ame for using his fanmade music vid. Kind of jerk imo.

When it comes to Hololive stories, there are some really impressive fanfictions out there. My favourite is one called ”Holoafterlive”, which is basically what happens in a ruined timeline (which is also a spinoff of another one of the same author’s fics). Don’t remember the author’s name, but anything they write is bound to be really impressive. Edit: The author’s name was wrsw on AO3. Read the replies for more.
HoloAfterLive is written by wrsw on AO3. He's made sequel-spinoffs (HAL: Friends In The Sky, HAL: Intervention, HAL: Rise of Usada Kensetsu, HAL: Under the Sky of Time, HAL: Nonstop Story). The other series he's made, Aquamarine Days, is just as good.

It's like out of nowhere until two scythes tear open the dimension. Stepping out is giant death-form with Kiara's flame armor. Four arms, 2 scythes then a sword and shield.

Mazumaro animates it, but I think all the SFX and music is edited in by Kuroyasha. Also I think Kuroyasha has a full version of this where they animated flashbacks and stuff.
I totally agree man. Hololive builds all this cool lore and I see people get all excited about it but ultimately I can’t get excited for the lore. Because I know the girls will eventually drop most of their characters (it’s impossible to stay in character indefinitely) and Cover doesn’t seem to be doing anything with all their cool lore.
Gura at the end is refernce to her 2 personality of her. In her Original Cover, Gura have 2 sides, her Gawr Gura (which is Gawr Gura that we know and love) and Predator Gura (which she does appears from time to time in stream very rarely) she is more darker version of Gura and a lot more savage and more blood thirsty that our Gura. The idea of bring Predator mode by fuse Gura with Trident is really great concept. So yeah, this final battle between Gura and Ina will lit as hell because Predator Mode Gura is a lot more stronger than Gura in her normal state.
I said this in a different channels video on these animations but I feel like the most recent animation gave gura split personality disorder one being normal gura and the other her edgy red highlighted doppelganger XD
The split personality thing is more-or-less "canon" to Gura already; it was first shown in her OG song "reflect" and she's brought out "Red Gura" a couple of times on stream, too, who is "darker and edgier" than normal Gura.
It would be really cool if Ame has to turn back time, but when she does she gets teleported to another room or dimension with the council waiting in epic gods trial style to pass Ames punishment. Since she broke the law of time or whatnot

"they don't care about me, I DON'T NEED THEM!" ding dong........Ina answers the door, gurra hugs her. "happy birthday Ina!" the whole myth crew is there, and at some point Ina notices wantons injury, and questions it. Watson reply's "OH!, its nothing....i was just helping a friend in need(smiles softly) " (also i give full permission legally for this plot and story to be used by kuroyasha as he/she sees fit.)

So for context my dude Amelia is ritual casting a spell to fix this calli and kiara are distractions and gura is the muscle last line of defense to help ame get her spell off to save the world and ina and at the end I'm pretty sure gura stabbed herself with her own trident to release the bad shark that's in her music and sometimes streams and that was what was with the flashbacks she was holding back because that's the homie she doesn't want to sick bad shark on her but she had to let go and break it rock lee style on her one time

It might even Been like a symbolic thing like she had to kill the fun loving friendly shark she's become to release the full power of bad shark and she's putting her full faith in Watson to turn back time so she never has to release dark gura again cause dark gura especially if she kills the ancient ones ina might be a ridiculous threat In her own right as well as the trauma it's bringing to normal gura so she literally unleashed hell and killed a part of herself praying and believing ame will be able to fix it
Actually calling the twist bad shark does kill ina and then munches on weakend Cali and Kiara and is staring down ame who's bawling as her best friend tears apart her myth family as the spell goes off and the timeline shifts to before ina sets off what ever allowed the ancient ones to take over and Watson has to live with the trauma of the truths that never happened just like with the burden of the secret of how she caused Coco to join hololive
Probably not theirs like 20 to 30 scenarios that could play off from the end of this like 10 to get to the good ending and it is called myth vs ina so Its definitely easy to just make the whole fight ina vs the gang and like have a full power team fight before the spell goes of or maybe we get the bad ending but personally to me this idea I find super interesting especially with the whole darker side of Amelia and her time travel skills like with the tranq dart senario with Coco going back in time to force her to work for hololive what other timelines did she have to fix change or cheat into exhisting and at what cost to her own sanity and well being
I obviously know who red gura is I've watched reflect and other things. How am I supposed to know that was her in a black and white animation and in a 2 second part where shes shown, You tried.

Gura at the end is refernce to her 2 personality of her. In her Original Cover, Gura have 2 sides, her Gawr Gura (which is Gawr Gura that we know and love) and Predator Gura (which she does appears from time to time in stream very rarely) she is more darker version of Gura and a lot more savage and more blood thirsty that our Gura. The idea of bring Predator mode by fuse Gura with Trident is really great concept. So yeah, this final battle between Gura and Ina will lit as hell because Predator Mode Gura is a lot more stronger than Gura in her normal state.

I said this in a different channels video on these animations but
I feel like the most recent animation gave gura split personality disorder one being normal gura and the other her edgy red highlighted doppelganger XD
I made a joke saying when the highlights turn red it's too late to run somewhere too XD
The split personality thing is more-or-less "canon" to Gura already; it was first shown in her OG song "reflect" and she's brought out "Red Gura" a couple of times on stream, too, who is "darker and edgier" than normal Gura.
It would be really cool if Ame has to turn back time, but when she does she gets teleported to another room or dimension with the council waiting in epic gods trial style to pass Ames punishment. Since she broke the law of time or whatnot
I remember this animation. I gotta be honest, Hololive lore is way more interesting than actual Hololive gameplay. It's why I hope Alternative won't be slice of life and will instead be a deep, epic thriller.

imagine the ending, Watson gets injured but not badly. she travels back in time. the next scene is Ina heartbroken that no one showed up to her 55,867 birthday, cake and all. dark thoughts cloud her head. "they don't care about me, I DON'T NEED THEM!" ding dong........Ina answers the door, gurra hugs her. "happy birthday Ina!" the whole myth crew is there, and at some point Ina notices wantons injury, and questions it. Watson reply's "OH!, its nothing....i was just helping a friend in need(smiles softly) " (also i give full permission legally for this plot and story to be used by kuroyasha as he/she sees fit.)

So for context my dude Amelia is ritual casting a spell to fix this calli and kiara are distractions and gura is the muscle last line of defense to help ame get her spell off to save the world and ina and at the end I'm pretty sure gura stabbed herself with her own trident to release the bad shark that's in her music and sometimes streams and that was what was with the flashbacks she was holding back because that's the homie she doesn't want to sick bad shark on her but she had to let go and break it rock lee style on her one time
I definitely might be wrong on some of the smaller details or especially about the end part with bad shark but that's the vibe I'm getting dark gura from her original song the one that kept hurting and killing people in Atlantis the life she threw away and escaped to enjoy life and have friends the evil voice in her head from the song she has to embrace to ironically enough fight a friend to have a chance to save the world and ina and that's some deep shit
It might even Been like a symbolic thing like she had to kill the fun loving friendly shark she's become to release the full power of bad shark and she's putting her full faith in Watson to turn back time so she never has to release dark gura again cause dark gura especially if she kills the ancient ones ina might be a ridiculous threat In her own right as well as the trauma it's bringing to normal gura so she literally unleashed hell and killed a part of herself praying and believing ame will be able to fix it

Actually calling the twist bad shark does kill ina and then munches on weakend Cali and Kiara and is staring down ame who's bawling as her best friend tears apart her myth family as the spell goes off and the timeline shifts to before ina sets off what ever allowed the ancient ones to take over and Watson has to live with the trauma of the truths that never happened just like with the burden of the secret of how she caused Coco to join hololive
Probably not theirs like 20 to 30 scenarios that could play off from the end of this like 10 to get to the good ending and it is called myth vs ina so Its definitely easy to just make the whole fight ina vs the gang and like have a full power team fight before the spell goes of or maybe we get the bad ending but personally to me this idea I find super interesting especially with the whole darker side of Amelia and her time travel skills like with the tranq dart senario with Coco going back in time to force her to work for hololive what other timelines did she have to fix change or cheat into exhisting and at what cost to her own sanity and well being
