    What an amazing story. My experience parallel with his because my children who have completed master’s degrees have inspired me to complete my undergraduate degree. I have appointment with CH this month to relaunch my college journey.

    Once I finish this term, I have 4 classes plus the capstone. I think I may have to do the capstone in the following term. Which means I’ll have graduated in 4 terms. 🤩 If I don’t switch my major next term. lol I’m considering it.

      4 terms is EXCELLENT! What’s tipping you toward a change of major?

      I really wanted to get a cyber security degree. I’m thinking I will just finish my business admin degree, try to get a few certifications in cybersecurity and project management. Hopefully I’ll land a job with tuition reimbursement, and I can try to get that degree. Or else I’ll just start my MBA.

    I just registered for liberty about 2 weeks ago for fall semester I was reading an email last night about registration and it said “ You cannot exceed this amount of credits when registering. Which is 12 credit hours. For bachelor degree for social work. Can I talk to someone. I have about 36 credits now on Sophia

    • @CollegeHacked
      @CollegeHacked  11 дней назад +1

      That is likely a first term requirement, or because you had a lower GPA than they wanted and they’re giving you a term to “prove” yourself :) If you’ve done really well on the Sophia classes (high percentage scores) you could appeal the 12 cap by writing about that experience and asking to be allowed to take more credits.

    While keeping a straight face can you tell me that a college degree has value if you're able to finish it in a short time while not being able to finish at other colleges? Issue with these specific feel good stories is others will follow it which is the purpose of this video it'll become an obvious trend like going to ITT Tech and these people being unable to find a job while end up sueing these colleges.

      The education landscape is changing. Just like we all do as time goes on. Would you rather people take on quite a bit of student debt, as opposed to do the 3rd party workaround (money saver btw) to achieve the same concepts in their education? A lot of what we do in our careers is learned on the job anyway.

    • @Jurmyhyle12
      @Jurmyhyle12 26 дней назад +4

      @@RyuRonin1 The question is will employers actually take these degree's seriously? Are they any better than a udemy certificate at the end of the day?

    • @CollegeHacked
      @CollegeHacked  26 дней назад +6

      Actually, those who hack college have better longterm outcomes. It’s more difficult to hack than to attend school normally and just be told what to do. If you think the length of a degree indicates its value, you don’t understand competency based education. If you take some time to look into it, you might feel differently.
