- E90/E91 Headlights are probably one of the most common things to change when you first get these cars because the previous owner didnt take care of them, in my case i actually lucked out with a brand new set buuuut they were Halogen lights so you cant see anything at night. Sooo to fix the issue i did some research and got full LED headlights for very reasonable price!!!!

To me, the original E90 headlights are iconic, I love it and wish that newer BMWs would have them.
E92 coupe also has ionic headlights as well

@@dins.garage E60 headlights are lovely but it cant be E60 lci because of the very uneven brightness of the angel eyes.
My e90 LCI angel eyes are junk uneven and yellow 🤮

Hey bro you can code out the amber so it’s not on and only comes on when you use your turn signals. At least with the stock and other aftermarket ones. Worth looking into I think. I did mine with bimmer geeks protools app kinda like Carly but better in my opinion. Also great job on the e90 content. I have a 335i also so. Not as badass as what you have but getting there. Haha

I love them, the ones from Autozensation are pretty much the exact same but have the high/low alignment adjustment and require no coding. They do the fancy start up lighting as well

Those look p nice, I think it’s a definite upgrade over the older ugly ones, ideally I would’ve just blacked out the housing and put some LED rings but that def requires more work. It was nice to vehicle virals lol

I installed these laser headlights and they look fantastic. I did chrome housing to match the chrome grill. The night time driving is day and night better. 2nd best upgrade I've done to my car next to Wireless CarPlay.

@@arjunt973 bought an AVIN screen and cut a slit in the dash. Looks OEM and includes Wireless Carplay and I also added a backup camera to it, the trunk release camera option. DO NOT get the wireless camera option its garbage.

@@mikedodd9294 that sounds great then, where’d you buy or do you have a link for it. i’ve been looking at multiple different options for carplay for over a year haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet, all so $$$. will i still be able to access the idrive menu with it installed ?
@@arjunt973 Andream has a carplay screen for CCC idrive and AVIN has an android head unit. both of those keep the stock idrive menu and such

Picked up these same lights few weeks back for E90 build. Stock bulbs that come with it are crap. High beam already burnt out just when testing. Used Bimmercode to basically disable warm/cold checks (the LED Conversion Turn Signal option) to get rid of random flashing. Can't seem to find where to code out amber markers though. Tried doing corner delete by turning US side marker function off but didn't make a difference. DRL off/on affects the hi-beam bulbs. Would like to turn off the amber lights if anyone figures out. Other than that, I think these are best looking lights compared to other similar options. Matched with smoked fog lights with LEDs and M3 style bumper.

@@15Godrick, same lights that are installed in video, but the lenses are slightly tinted. Really see difference from beginning of video with previous lights then go to 10min mark to see tint. They look good IMO, but I wonder how much they affect the light output. Just got LED bulbs guys used in this video and will be installing this week. Also ordered Lamin-x headlight film cause I don't think these lenses will hold up to much road use.
Where are the parameters for the cold and warm checks? I think I had turned all of them off but it was still flickering. I tried everything.
@@trentdaddydolla647, I'd found all of the parameters online, but the Bimmercode app makes it easy as they've rolled up the configs into simple on/off to select lights, fog lights, turn signals, etc as LED. Worked perfectly with these lights.

@@elemar5 yes mate. My car is the e92 coupe. Ticking time bombs regardless. Rear drive Axles out next week to do reluctor rings and sensors. Almost 2 pages of repairs and replacements on my car.. always a new fault code within a week or so. Selling it and done with the Euro cars.

Definitely want to get these headlights for mines and a wrap done 😩😩 what was the estimated quote for everything? It looks extremely nice!! I would also recommend you code the car with the carly tool to unfold/fold the mirrors with the lock/unlock buttons. That + the headlights welcome animation would be 🔥 🔥 🔥

my experience with this third-party lights is the led strips always fail after 1 year.
I put these lights and led’s in my 11 328i. Light output sucks unless brights are on. I drive with the brights on all the time and still don’t get flashed.
Any bulb out warnings? Or did the coding solve that entirely? Any warnings for the LED bulbs you

Hey guys I'm a huge fan of your channel.
Bought a e90 328i that has a cylinder 2 misfire . Long story short. No compression. Need to do a leak down test and see if it's top end or bottom. Do you have any one you can refer be to that's reputable for a replacement 328i engine. I bought the car to flip. So I'm into it $2700. Thanks for your help and can't wait to see your new project rip !!👍

Just helped a friend install these and we couldn't figure out the blinking for like 2-3 hours... we messed w the fuses and ended up cutting the resistor wire (yellow) so the blinker doesn't turn on at all now

Hey, I just picked these up as well. Did yours come with low beam bulbs installed? ebay shop is telling me these are plug and play but there seems to be an obvious place to install low beam bulbs that is empty and the plug is just sitting in the housing? Am i just being dumb?

LED > HID. HID is old bad complicated technology with too many parts. LED is way simpler, lasts longer and even brighter

Cut away those fingers on the wrap under the headlight and put a patch piece over it. Those will keep creeping until they show eventually.
Great video as always, not sure if it was mentioned but its only for cars that have factory halogen, if your car comes with HIDs, like my own, its a no-go...we gotta pay the "bmw" price....i had to look on the link to find out...trust me im sad about it too..
335 carlos has these on his car and his car was Xenon adaptive from factory 🤷♂️

Im not sure why they said its only for halogen, but if carlos uses it then, it good to go. Any reason why they would say that on there website?! I just dont wanna get it and it not work...

Just got m the cheaper ones for my xenon car and they work just no high beams,so gonna have to move some wires around and that should do the trick

The original looks much ça better.. the amber lights are now the thing to have ..M3 CS etc.. don’t ever try to update a car looks silly / ugly and does not match the character lines of the car.. same goes for wheels can destroy a look of a car.. OEM
However the non Xenon are crap and I would change then out for Xenon.. looks kinda cheap

Do these keep the function of the headlights turning as you turn the wheel?
When you see the headlights that were on previously they’re classic bowl halogen headlights. They don’t come with adaptive hardware or headlight height hardware so it’s all solid state. Unfortunately i don’t think xenon versions even have the adaptive feature and some don’t have any made for xenon at all

You have to move the red wire on the harness coming from the headlight to pin2 so it matches the oem trigger wire for xenon flapper then splice in headlight relay harness to power the high beam because the voltage is completely different

You need to program the computer for replacing halogen by LED.

I had these lights for about a week and the left turn signal stopped working it has a IC to make the animation work so not repairable I sent them back.

Did your oem lights have the cornering lights that move with the steering wheel? Mine do and that’s the only thing stopping me from getting these. I think I’ll end up just have to modify my oem ones
