I have to say, since hearing this the first time and liking it very much, it's rapidly climbing up my personal rankings after the 10th listen through. Getting better each time I hear it tbh.
Yeah, gotta say that Band-Maid is the only band since Rush where this is true, that you'll hear a song the first time and say, "Wow that's good" and then for the next 20 listens it just gets better and better until you're saying, "Holy heck that's amazing!" It's the layers, and how they combine that requires you to listen to the song that many times until you are putting it all together.
Every new Band-Maid song rings out with new and innovative riff and chord structures, beat patterns and fills, vocal runs, backups, melodies and lyrics. The Maids continue to pack so much into their songs without them feeling cluttered, repetitive or overplayed. Their composition and execution is always refreshing and amazing to witness and hear. Once again, the supreme Maids -- Kanami, Saiki, Miku, Akane and MISA -- push their contributions to exciting, new levels of writing, playing and performance!
