Wow! What a great experience, seeing and hearing this killing band. I marched at ECU as an undergrad, and witnessed the Tiger Band at LSU as a grad student.... not anywhere close to this. I remember the 1st time I saw the Pride of the Mountains in 2003. They were great then, but have definitely come a long way. No longer a big and dirty look, much cleaner and polished in visual design and overall marching throughout the ensemble to go with their unmatchable, explosive sounds! Go WCU!!!!!
WCU is headed back to BOA for exhibition performance again this year (2015). Don't know if you caught last years show, but thought it was awesome too. In the 2014 show they had over 500 marching and their first note seemed like it almost took your breathe away. I don't think I've ever heard sound that big
Their drumline was awesome!! Especially that exposed snare roll at 8:48!! And how about their front ensemble?! Being a front ensemble guy myself, I was highly impressed!! So many notes!! But the drumline as a whole was incredible!!
Thank you so much for posting this! I had to stay back, and wouldn't have otherwise been able to see it. Means so much for me a Proud Pride Band Mom!
Holy shit - they're incredible! Of all the bands and drum corps I've ever seen or marched with...this is just WOW. Talk about a "next level" show?!?!
Thank you so much for posting this. I am a member of the band, and this video is better than the DVD I bought.
We really appreciate it! It was awesome being able to share the experience with ya'll :D
Thanks for the upload, I'll never forget this stellar performance. So much fun!!!

By the way, did anybody catch how they had "Firework"s during the 1812?
Genius.
I was unsure how somebody could merge pop music. But you did...
They are awsome
just that one bar of 1812 causes a bandgasam for me and my whole tuba section
i liked this! coming from a guy who did high step marching
Maybe the best college band in the south. (or north)
What did you think of the drumline??
My band director is the beat boxer at 6:07
Anyone know the name of the song after the drum feature?
you don't see many good college marching bands. The only other one i've seen that can compare is West Chester University
Did these guys make finals?
Oof I didn't realize this was a college marching band
Lolz, "Beyoncee."
