I feel like it's not a true speedrun unless you get the obligatory, "Genso, we're going to be late." " "Sorry, just let me beat Elden Ring real quick," comment. So there it is. Oh, and as a bonus I'll throw in, " That was the Elden Ring run of all time," that one was free.
Weird category. So much time spent literally running, and yet using a glitch for boss fights. Still congrats on WR! I wouldn't be able to do anything like that.
@yds6268 I think that's a valid opinion. There is a decent amount of running in this game, in general. I do, however, think that these categories that allow the chainsaw glitch for bosses are a great entry point into speedrunning this game for anyone because A) you don't have to worry about learning intricate boss strategies and B) you still get to play a decent chunk of the game, and the movement tech and parkour in this game are both interesting enough to feel engaging to play. Everything has a place imo. I do glitches and glitchless content on this channel because I appreciate them both for what they are.
