It certainly is a Dover hydraulic motor, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Dover and Montgomery used some interchangeable parts that could be used on both brands. Also, while Hunter-Hayes was a Dover distributor, they were a Montgomery distributor for a brief time as well.
This has to be a convention center or museum of some sort. What type of establishment would have such a giant freight elevator with a 10000ib+ capacity?
Indeed, there are some Impulse elevators with Supernova motors, but this one was also deep pitched, and as with building, the name is undisclosed for safety reasons.
That is a huge freight elevator! Great find and thanks for filming this.
This elevator is so cool and massive.
Indeed, 16000 lbs, which is the same as 8 tons means that this can lift the same capacity as 8 VW Beetles if they each weigh a ton (2000#).
This was very cool.
Where’s is the Dover buzzer

CaptainElevator42189 Ik but the Pitch sounds like it

The first Impulse ever with a Supernova motor.

Impulses with SUPERNOVA Motors? Where?
These were installed in 2001
0:00 You’re filming on a Canon PowerShot.
Sounds like a Montgomery Dry Powered Motor!!
This is at the Austin Texas History Museum.
The SUPERNOVA MOTOR!
It shouldn't be 200 HP. It's probably like 120 according to Macy's WS Freight that is 8,000 Pounds and I double it
Installed c. 2001 making this ThyssenDover
While I love the spaciousness of the freight elevator, I hate the buzzer that sounds when the doors close.
Yes, I like the standard beeper and familiar door motor sound of Peelle doors more than the other brands.
In the title, it's "JimLiElevators", not "Jim Li Elevators".
***** oh ok
I love it
Darren A WTF!?!? He wasn't talking to you
