Love my Recreq 1100! Customer service is second to none! Suggestion, do pork ribs (did three racks for the family at Christmas). Add some meat church smoked queso on the top rack the last hour.
Good call out on the cord management. Redesign looks decent. I assume they will have shelf options in the future. Wish they would have designed an easy cleanout.
No issues. Smokes and cooks great. Easy assembly. My only complaint is it has no front shelf. When it comes to recteq. You can’t go wrong. Thanks for your comment and watching my video. I apologize, I was not able to complete a full review until after Thanksgiving.
Im still torn on these vs the Camp Chef, and Grilla Grill offerings. But its really tied between Camp Chef and Recteq especially with these newer grills. What are you r thoughts with the Woodwind 36/Pro versions with this
It’s going to come down to your needs. I like Recteq for its quality, warranty and customer service. I have used Camp Chef in the past and its quality was not par with Recteq. I will have a review posted this weekend. With Recteq you will notice the people there they share a great passion for outdoor pellet smoking and grilling.
Yea..I def can see that. also love that their small business. Think the dualfire might be my choice! Geuss i'll get over the non- ash clean out@@webersbbq
@@mrfreezey1 the ash clean out can be flawed. Depends on the grill. Some are acceptable to moisture build up. I clean burn pot every 4 cooks and the barrel every 10 cooks depending on the pellets. If you are looking for a searing option and smoking option. The dual fire would be a great choice.
I have not experienced any melting from the paint. However I don’t take the grill up to 700. Best to reach out to Recteq Directly for that answer or check with an online forum. Thanks for watching and your comments
When it comes to performance, they both work the same. It’s more cosmetic. The main cooking chamber on the 1100 is redesigned which gives you more room on the top shelf. The controller is new on the 1100. 1100 has no front shelf, sadly.
Thanks for the quick review! I'm about to grab one with their black Fri special...

Good looking grill. recteq baby!
Just ordered one today 🎉
Good job bro 😎
Nice informative video
Thank you for watching
Are you going to do a full review after doing a couple smokes? Any issues so far? Thinking of pulling the trigger during their Black Friday sale

@@webersbbqWell I ordered the 1100 this afternoon to take advantage of their BF price, fingers crossed it’s an improvement over the 700 model
CAN YOU GET LIGHTS 2 ON THIS GRILL?

@@webersbbq Thanks!
@mrfreezey1 what did you go with?? I am in the same boat.
Has the finish on the lid switched from the powder coated paint that melts If you use the grill at 700 degrees?

What’s the difference between this and the 1250 besides the legs and bottom storage rack?

No front tray option?
Not yet. I sent an email and I am awaiting their response
Looks like you're missing a nut where the wiring harness goes in below the cooking chamber. 2:14 mark in the video
Good eye, but I wasn’t missing the nut. I just didn’t tighten it. It is now well tightened.
Nice overview…..just ordered one from Recteq. Btw…..Your grate on the top is upside down, FYI
@@kerrytodd3753 Great choice and yes, the top grate was upside down lol
speak slower and say UUMMM more
I bet you're a hit at parties
