Sorry to comment under my work account. This is an excellent video: in focus, nicely framed sequences, no 'gimmicks' - and superbly and concisely presented by Jonathan. With suitable credits to you, ReelJen, this would be an excellent promotional video for Chetham's Library's own website...
Very informative video and enjoyed watching it. However i would like to point out that its pronounced chethams not cheethams. This is a common mistake as it is located off cheetham hill but there is only 1 e in chetham. As i am a chetham myself it can be a bit frustrating when your family name and heritage is mis pronounced. That aside. Good video.
@@anthonychetham2161 That may be the case with your name, but coming from a student of the school for 5 years, the pronunciation with an 'ee' sound is definitely correct.
@@joelcolyer2240 this is because of the teachers pronouncing it wrong for many years and students accept this as the way it is said as they have no other frame of reference apart from videos like this that also say it wrong. Look deeper into the history of sir Humphrey chetham, chethams library and turton towers. Many historians, especially at turton towers get frustrated by this, be the one to break the cycle and dont just accept what you are told (even by me) find out for yourself. You may be suprised with what you find out!
Thank you…very interesting. I shall be visiting Manchester in November and look forward to experience the library.

This is incorrect. It is spelled 'Chetham's' but the pronunciation of it is as if it had two e's. Although the school is called Chet's for short.
@@joelcolyer2240 you have unfortunately fallen into the same trap as most people with the way it is pronounced.
