2.why are u using the s1 on your master
1.) Because if one can master within a session there will be 0 degradation of quality loss due to exporting, plus it saves time if clients have changes.
2.) to widen the pseudo (stereo image) of the track and give it a sense of depth.

Thanks boss but if I don't the waves rvox.. can I use this like a replacement ??.. if not what dynamic compressor/ limiter can I use from kvraudio ??
I’d use the W1 Limiter it’s free and is based off the L1 limiter. Similar concept, not the same but you can really get that crushed loud sound.
You can also try the Classic Compressor I use that if I don’t have the Waves RCompressor. It’s 32bit and Windows only tho. Peace

Check my Uzi Vocal effect video or my video on “ how to use my recording template “ it goes a bit more in depth.
Other than that, watch videos of live sound engineers and how they explain channel routing. How I learned.

Is there a way to eq the beat to help vocals stand out or should u leave the best alone and focus on compression and eq on vocals to help them stand out
Good question, you can manipulate the beat but always know that if it’s mp3 and heavily limited you’re going to 8/10 times ruin it more than fix it.
Best is to start with well mixed beats because the beat is 50% of your whole production, I’d say reduce harsh Hz with an EQ and try not to boost too much.
