Sunshine Skyway Bridge northbound

The Sunshine Skyway is one of America's iconic bridges and it carries I-275 across the mouth of Tampa Bay. The current span opened in 1987 and replaced an antiquated dual-span cantilever bridge & causeway that was partially destroyed by a collision with a freighter in 1980. Altogether, the bridge measures 4.1 miles long with a cable-stayed main span of 1,200 ft.

one of my favorite bridges. I always like driving over it every time I visit Florida. I'm from Indiana and come down during spring or winter breaks. stunning bridge.

@@lahmj.7168 when you drive over road, the road material changes to concrete, and it comes with an eerie sound
