How depressing... When I moved to Aurora 40 years ago, Fox Valley Mall would be *thriving* with shoppers almost all of the time. Now, it looks like a virtual ghost town. Gone is Lord & Taylor. Gone is Sears. Gone is the incomparable Marshall Field with its warm customer service, replaced by the cold New York-bred Macy's. People keep buying online and shying away from large malls, making wonderful in-person shopping environments such as Fox Valley Mall a dying breed -- a thing of the past, sadly. 😪
We used to go to this mall but starting a few years ago I felt like I was the only Wh ite person in the mall so I felt uncomfortable and stopped going.
I remember when the holiday season was a time for malls to go all-out.

I've been living in new jersey for 5 years. I am excited to say that I am finally moving back home in 4 days!!!
