is this tournament legal? like can you bring a keyboard + adapater to even big ones. and how do you get the scripts/modifiers to work if played on console?
I have played in a few with it yes. It’s missing like the sdi nerf but not by design and yeah i havent been to anything huge Works the same on console and it runs off a raspberry pi

@@Account-ic8pw The lack of B0XX nerfs troubles me too. Even if it's not a big advantage at lower ranks, I don't wanna learn and build muscle memory by playing that way ... I wonder if it'd be possible for Slippi to add default keyboard controls that include the B0XX nerfs. edit: I just saw that we're in the middle of determining what those nerfs should be going forward. I will be patient then.
the "high n-key rollover" requirement at 0:09 is really vague, what is considered high n-key rollover? if my keyboard can press up to 5 keys at a time is it sufficient to run this layout?
I keep getting "Error at line 41: "" Is not a valid key name" where in the line its at " UP" so i will delete the space between the " and the UP and it will in turn say "wUP" is not a valid key name and then wont work. its clearly already taking the hotkey for up (w) and putting it there and making it not usable, is there a fix? It worked at first but now does this (without having changed anything jus woke up one day and this happened)
Redownload the whole script this is definitely something that happened to me and im pretty sure part of the script does that continuously if you ever have it open while editing hotkeys or something Avoid keeping different windows open while mapping keys or editing the script
@@Swill_ that works ty, editing the code directly also works SOMETIMES but very rarely and it seems completely random since i would literally be doing the same thing over and over again.
for any1 else w this problem i think i figured it out, if u edit the hotkeys.ini file directly (like to put special keys for buttons like shift, alt, wtv it is) and u save the file without exiting the script/while its running (not jus suspended) it bugs it out and u will have to redo the files like above

Yeah so that blocks the default behavior of the key so space won’t work unless you pause the script It’s how i do it and these days I pretty much turn on the script right when my comp boots and then instantly put it in pause mode Then i just ctrl alt s when i wanna play I would recommend doing it this was since i had issues not putting every key to prevent default behavior but you’re free to turn that off

when i get to running the ahk script, it says that for line 3, the function library was not found
Try redownloading the ahk files or re-unzipping it
And then make sure all files are closed when you edit the scripts or edit controls

I'm having the same issue. Although i redownloaded the scripts and linked the library i still get the line 3 error when i run the boxx script.

the script works until i close it then it wont let me reopen it. i have to reopen the zip file and rebind controls again. is there a fix for this?
