I live in Minnesota & we already have leaves starting to change, and most days don’t get out of the 70s. It’s so exciting! I’m convinced there’s nowhere with leaves as beautiful as Minnesota in the fall. 💕
You must be up north. I'm in the twin cities and haven't seen any leaves change yet and yesterday was 90 degrees! Though we will cool down by labor day I'm sure. We always have those random hot days as we get into September. Just Minnesota things 😅

I just took my last summer trip and I'm so ready for Fall! I realized I need to prepare my closet for the cooler weather and I can't for the cozy vibes :)
Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year for fashion, food and taking in the world around me. Your suggested fall-themed activities inspire me, from arranging an autumn bouquet to going to a pumpkin patch. Yesterday, I made a new recipe: a healthier banana bread with pumpkin seeds and the texture was divine and tasted so good with a pat of melted butter. The oatmeal/stone sweater you were wearing in your closet is really nice and I like the design and the collar on it. Looking forward to more of this season's videos.

Fall began here with a couple of fall colored linen dresses from Mersea which I'm sure I will be wearing well into October, if not longer. While warm beverages won't show up for another few months, this time of year is all about finishing to be reading for new beginnings. Ie, cleaning up gardens and planning the next ones. We have our annual garage sale which is more of a time to spend with people and decluttering than sales. Very fun indeed. Of course there is more, but then, there is always more isnt there? As Martha Stweart says, its a good thing.

Watching Lark Rise to Candleford they mention a Banbury cake. I looked it up and looks delicious and easy enough! That is my planned fall treat. I also found a Banbury pie… much the same but in pie form and not a flakey puff pastry like the cake. Yum 🤤
What part of Texas are you from? To me, fall dose does not really start till November. I am from San Antonio. It seems to stay in the 90s till October. Not very fall like to me lol.

We have had an unusually moderate summer here in Texas which has me yearning for fall! I bought a long wool coat on prime days because it just felt right! I am revamping my wardrobe for all the seasons this year and I’ve purchased some lovely pieces for fall that I’m transitioning in after Labor Day. This is a busy time of year so prescheduling some down time is genius. If it’s in the planner, it’s important, right?!! Happy Fall Y’all! 🥰🍁🍄🟫🍂

I read A Discovery of Witches a few autumns ago and while I didn’t love it, it really added to the season! Yes August is too early for me too. Fall officially starts for me after back to school season, which was always the day after Labor Day!

Some of our trees in Kentucky are changing also, probably due to the hot, dry summer we had this year. Autumn is my favorite time of year!

They are clean when they are stored. They might need a refreshing wash when pulled out again. Definitely ironing or steaming...
