I too was hit by a drunk driver and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Every day poses a challenge and I can never return to being a nurse. Really feel for you!

I had the pleasure to meet you today, John. You truly have given me hope, and the inspiration to accept the ‘new’ me. To stop worrying about lost words, conversations where I can’t even remember what the heck I’m talking about because my brain goes ‘ermm ermm, panic, panic - what am I talking about again?’ Thank you so much for giving me hope. Love from Jackie and the amazing chihuahua, Alfie 😊
