From the layout and design of high-speed rail stations to ticket buying, checking in, entering the station, etc., everything is the same as China's high-speed rail. This is a complete set of mature and efficient high-speed rail solutions. You must know that this has been verified by more than one billion passengers in China. and optimized, so it is a very mature and efficient solution. After taking the Indonesian high-speed rail and later coming to China, you will find that everything is so familiar and cordial.

At this stage the true owner is China Development Bank that financed the line. Seven trains in each direction mean that 8274 seats are offered daily, a schedule that can be assured by leaving 9 of the 11 CR400AF trains in storage. If this video is indicative, less than 4000 passengers make the trip daily, less than 5% of the ridership needed to pay back the loans on a $50 million/km HSR. Fortunately the loans come with a 10 year grace period but Indonesia needs to act to improve the connections in Halim and Tegalluar.

Don`t mention about some new train projects in China which can reach to 600km/h as those are still concepts under testing not for commercial using widely. The difference is huge. I've taken China, Taiwan (Shinkansen), Eurostar high speed train from London to Paris and Italy. China's high-speed trains are the smoothest. Hi, Ken. Glad that you're here and had the chance to try our brand new high speed train. You have lots of experiences in Malaysia and The Philippines, so I hope your visit here gives us all some new insights and perspectives. In fact, the first time I knew you was from a video of another RUclipsr.
As a rail enthusiast, of course this is exciting! Did you manage to take Jakarta's MRT/LRT/airport train as well?
Padalarang is an existing railway station, but then they added a new part for the high speed train service. From Padalarang, you may transfer to the local train to city center or take an intercity train to other parts of Java. Anw, Tegalluar itself is still in the outskirts of Bandung, you need continue the journey by another mode of transportation to city center.

Hahaha, China has no intention of competing with Japan, after all, the market will determine who is better. The Chinese government is just responding to the "the Belt and Road" policy and hopes that countries will become more prosperous. This is also the reason for the transfer of high-speed rail technology.

Wifi is available on most China high speed trains when I was travelling there, but I didn't use it because you have to download an app and it only has chinese version. In any case, I have already bought a local SIM card, so wifi onboard isn't important to me. I think it's up to the Indonesian authority whether they want to provide free wifi onboard, which is additional cost to them. Maybe this is not a long haul train journey (about 40mins), so they prob don't see the need to? Also I saw an intro by other vloggers, there's a dining section.

I just tried it yesterday from Halim to Bandung and I went back to Halim this morning, my suggestion if you wish to go to the center city, better you stop at Padalarang, it's save time to reach it.

Same looking trains as the ones in China. Must be joint venture, China builds crazy projects overseas really incredible. I means it’s already done… same time it took chicago to fill the pothole downtown 1 year😅
