- This is STOP_02, the TAE Natural Selection at Baldface. 🚀 Watch as 14 of the best snowboarders in the world drop into the infamous Scary Cherry venue that played host to both the Red Bull Supernatural (2012) and Red Bull Ultra Natural (2013), a steep and deep naturally enhanced venue with over 80 massive drops, kickers and features and one of the greatest playgrounds on earth for backcountry riding. Fourteen riders will battle it out for the top spot as 8 men and 4 women move on to Stop_03, Alaska.

Another absolute banger of a contest, ZOI adopting full legend status. Thanks to Travis, Liam and the whole crew behind these events, they have the same magic to them as when I watched super natural and ultra natural a decade ago.

its crazy how pumped the announcers get about a nose butter. The easiest thing in the world to do going fast in powder. But it's awesome that they appreciate stuff that's fun in this format.

The judging in this contest needs some work.
A bit more clarity on where points are awarded or deducted would be good. It would also be nice to know how many judges there are and what points they awarded to get the final result like they do for WSL surfing

I ride and old 2007 Burton Vapour. Tried different boards but alway come back to her. She fast and responsive. How would the BSOD compare. Tech has moved on.....

I preferred the old course to be honest. It had more natural features which created more creativity.

@@benryan2009 the first time they held events here for the ultra natural and super natural, its seems like they've added a lot more man made kickers for this event.
@Dan gotcha, I don't think they did much to the upper part, I think they did add some more kickers lower down(haven't rewatched those super and ultra in a while). I kinda wish they didn't end the run so early and still had the park kickers they used to. Not that it should count very heavily to the score, but it was pretty rad watching them ride the most insane powder run and then hit some perfect groomed jumps. I think taking them out also made it so they had to try their harder tricks on some sketchy features, not a ton of options. Also, it seems like the features up top haven't filled in like past years, not as much pop for the bonks and "manual pad". I'm just bummed that no one stepped to a Niko Mueller front 3 bonk

I think they should adapt the courses a bit for the women, apart from zoi the rest seem to struggle for some reason.
