  • Transcription of James Saranos' solo on Pennies From Heaven, as performed by Veronica Swift along with many other great musicians. This was recommended to me by a friend, and I gotta say it's a good one. I hope you enjoy it!

Being in New Orleans, the birthplace of this great flavor of music, I'm a little spoiled because I can name five clubs off the top of my head, and that's just on one street (Frenchman). If you ever go, try Snug Harbor, Three Muses, the Spotted Cat, Blue Nile, D.B.A., or the Maison. All of these clubs are less than a mile away from the New Orleans Jazz Museum on Esplanade Ave. In your local area, just look for "jazz clubs" or "music clubs" and if you call you can ask when the next time they have a Jazz band performing.
