Excellent descriptions through each stage, thank you.
You're welcome! I'll also have this in ebook form very soon as well.

Thank you for this 🙏🏽
You're welcome 🙏🏾
Thanks . . Useful indeed
Great video and explanation, specially the transition to act 2 and explanation about the internal conflict.
Just a note please check that your necklace doesn’t rub the mic as the noise was a little distracting, but the video is great nonetheless! 👍🏼
I am glad to have watched this. Very infighting and useful. Can we have it in text, -like an article or something. Thanks Allan
Happy you enjoyed the video!! Ahhh, I'll definitely get started on creating that. That's an excellent idea 💡
'Thanks' Allan... nicely done... clearly explained and experienced. Could you take it to the finish line... write the scripts for me, under my name, so I can a accept the accolades while drinking free beer donated from your work.

Haha! Thanks, Brian! I try to make these videos as simple as possible. Hey I gotta focus on writing my own scripts 😅
All of these writers on structure like Hauge, Snyder, Truby, Edson, McKee K.M. Weiland, etc... are all just regurgitating some variation of the Syd Field's story structure which is a variation of Joseph Cambell's the Hero's Journey. These are all people who had minimal to no commercial writing success. They are all just salesmen who saw a niche they could exploit to make a living. Each in turn simply repackaged and re-marketed the hero's journey just enough to claim it's "their" structure. (i.e changing the titles of specific beats or changing the verbiage of the structure or by adding one or two plot points or ideas. These people make a living writing "how to books", even though they never made it in the industry themselves. If people really want to learn how to write, they should sign up for Masterclass and learn from ACTUAL writers like Sorkin, Mamat, Neil Gaiman, James Patterson, Dan Brown, Walter Mosley, David Baldacci, N.K. Jemisin, Amy Tan, Judy Blume, Malcom Gladwell, R.L. Stine, etc...These are people who have and are making as writers. Their life is writing. There's a saying "Those who can't 'do' teach." These are the DOERS teaching you how to do it. That's a far better way to learn imo.
