When the Album Thriller was released I was not a Michael Jackson fan in any way, but boy did that album made an impact in the world of music. I came to like and admire his music after thriller's release more and more. One f the truly greats of all time.

Just to answer your question on the things on his fingers, I could be mistaken but I think he wore the tape on his fingers and also later on in his career, the arm sleeve on that arm because of the light patches in his skin that started to show due to his skin disorder Vitiligo, it was quite noticeable on that arm back in those days. The thing is, he made it look cool to wear and became part of his iconic look
