- ITS A SPLATOON 3 INKJET BATTLE CHALLENGE WHERE THERE IS AN INKJET FOR EVERYONE!
In Splatoon 3 Drizzle Season another Challenge has been dropped on us!
This time we have Inkjets that can be obtained VERY Quickly! Just like that one Too Many Zooka Challenge!
If you can hit a Direct Inkjet shot then this challenge is for YOU!

The Starfox music is just so fitting for the amount of airfights in the challenge
everybody popping inkjet at the same time was hilarious, even though i performed terribly it was insanely fun to watch the chaos (i at some point just stopped using so much inkjet bc i kept dying)
I like how the inklings in the splatoon lobby always look like they’re coming off the roughest hangover ever
4:29 I have no idea how I didn't get hit but was nice playing with ya! Definitely my favourite challenge of the lot!
I played primarily Ballpoint during the rotation last night and was decently successful at hitting inkjets out of the sky with the main weapon. I even managed to get an inkjet quad with one of the kills being air-to-air.
Unfortunately I could only play 1 rotation of this, and I was feeling kind of sick at the time so it wasn't the best experience
But it was still a fun challenge, I personally think rapid is one of the better weapons because it can take out other inkjets fairly easily.
as someone who’s been trying to play through crazy vertigo lately, i felt this
this challenge was super fun and i think it's cuz the weapons available usually have counters(usually)
ballpoint is ballpoint, brella can block shots from the jet(in my experience 3), and rapid can use it's aoe to hit inkjets easier.
This was my favorite challenge so far. It was pure chaos and I loved every second of it.
Nova being popular is surprising but makes sense. I picked Brella and had a good time :) having a shield for this was nice lol. For me tho I think I saw more Sloshers than anything
I got to play some of this, and i found that my time in tf2 as soldier came in handy for hitting directs in the sky, it really sometimes feels like Splatoon is a game as timeless as team fortress
This was such a fun challenge! Getting kills against other inkjets with your own inkjet is super satisfying, and it was a nice excuse for me to practice the Sorella Brella! Also I find it kind of interesting that two of the permitted main weapons (Tri-Slosher and Rapid Blaster) are relatively effective anti-Inkjet weapons and thus have more value to them than what appears on the surface.
At 4:45, I exactly do the same thing when I have an Inkjet battle. Most of the time people go left-right, so I'll just hang still in the air to aim better at my opponent.
When I played this challenge, the Rapid was low key the best move! Literally everyone will inkjet, and rapid blaster was my best way of taking them down while my team got the zone 👌🏿

I was only really able to play for 30 minutes cause of the times for me but I’d say this challenge is really fun and silly. I got a decent power of 2219.9 in the 30 minutes I could play. Really enjoyed the video Dude keep up the great work!
Calling your 2200+ power decent is definitely underselling it lmao

I actually managed to get a quad kill (all on ground though) but the double hit was unintentional so not sure if it counts LMAO
This was such a fun challenge though, one of my favorites so far especially being a vtri main! I made sure to clip as many jet v jet kills I could get
i feel like i had more luck shooting inkjets out of the sky with ballpoint than i did trying to hit inkjets with my own inkjet lol. and i have 4* ballpoint so you'd think i'd be used to using inkjet
When I played this challenge. It was nuts and awesome.
I use the Sorella Brella, snice it my main weapon.
Some of the dogfights in this challenge got pretty intense lol
I can say without exaggeration, I went full Top Gun on this mode.

Gonna be honest, I really could not get into this challenge. Aside from being on a really bad losing streak, the jets were just too much to deal with. I guess it didn't help that I hadn't played the game since this past Splatfest, but I legit COULD NOT get into it. I felt like I was forcing myself to play . . .
At least ones like Dude had fun with it though. Nice triple 10:20

ok DUDE ik you sead it was a dream to get a quad on only peeps in the sky but i got like 3 i was INSANE at shooting people out of the skt
WHY IS THIS CHALLENGE ON A SCHOOL DAY WHYYYYY
This challenge broke me, not because I am bad with ink-jet or that I am bad at fighting ink-jets but because I would repeatedly get team-mates who just had no idea what they were doing maybe it's because I played somewhat late at night ( 9:00 p.m. ) on a week day but my opponents where way too good for them my k:d of 3:1 didn't matter because I would get match after match of losing after one minute with all three of my team-mates would go 0:3 regardless of where my skill level is at if the matchmaking was good my win:loss should be about 1:1 but instead it is more like 1:2 and most of those wins were not easy on two occasions I had a losing streak of 6 games and I had to watch my challenge power drop down into the 1300s at one point obviously I didn't even break the top 50%.
You might be thinking well whatever this guy probably just played poorly and is taking it out on his team but I have put over 750 hours into this game and over 1800 hours in Splatoon 2 and most of that was playing ranked and a large portion of that wasn't just me playing passively or trying to win but it was me recognising that I would lose and dedicating the match not towards winning but toward improving myself, with the new replays I thought I could review a match and see where I can improve or what the opponents are doing that I am not but all it did was confirm the worst for me that my opponents are bad or at least worse than me in most games but that doesn't matter because my team-mates are far worse and I can't carry. The amount of hours I have put in alone is almost deserving of me being in the top 1% but somehow I can't even break top 50%? I don't deserve to have matches where I am matched up with people that are not only refusing to use motion controls but are flat out refusing to even adjust the camera at all for the first 30 seconds of a match and that's not even getting into the amount of griefers and people trying to lose / giving up or trolling me specifically with trying to block my shots and shooting at me etc when we are on the same team.
I love this game but I don't think I can do it any more. Sometimes the bad matches are not community's fault but sometimes it is clearly intentional and something the community is in control over is how they respond to my story, I have told stories similar to this in the past and people will just throw doubt and fallacies and shame and hate towards me giving me further reason not to stick around or at least not bother visiting places discussing the game.
I might play Salmon Run every now and then and I already paid for the dlc so I will check that out but I don't think I can do ranked any more.
I wish I didn't miss that challenge 😅 I kinda forgot it.
I cannot wait to play starfox in splatoon again.

still so annoyed by their stupid time slots for these challenges. if i’m closing 3-9 and get home by 10, i have an hour to play most challenges (or i can play 1-3, but that’s if i wake up before noon lmao). i wish they’d just do 2 hours on 2 hours off for like a day or two if they must have it be limited in some way
