I would've gone with Kevin's deal. They have more than enough profit margins to no even feel the 38cent royalty. I'm sure he could've cut down their costs alot. If he cut the production cost down by 20 cents and the customer acquisition cost by 30 cents.. Now all of a sudden he just saved them 50 cents per unit, so they would've never felt the 38cents and it basically cost you nothing to have him on your team. People don't understand the value Kevin brings, just because he's not as 'flashy' as Mark. The man is a beast. His real plan is to usually help automate people's business as much as possible so they can just sit back and collect checks. Then he can turn around and sell it for them and give them a massive payday. Look what he did for Groovebook, Plated, and others. Plated sold for $300Mil. That's his real exit strategy and why he does these royalty deals. He's said so himself. The royalty gives him way more negotiating power so that way when he goes to sell the company, they will pay him a huge lump sum to buy out his royalty
