My Uncle did this for 6 years. He live in Malaysia and Work in Singapore Daily. He managed to save alot of Money and even bought 2 Landed Houses for his Family. If RM strengthen to 3 which is very likely given both internal, external developments and potential 30% increase in salary in JB, don't need to work in a foreign country anymore.
I don't think it is right to use MYR 10 for the food. Usually, will opt for better food with better quality and cleanliness, let's say food in the mall will cost MYR 15-20. Food in JB isn't cheap in general
Most Decent Master room Rental in SG - HDB or very old condo are more around $1.5-1.8K too old condo, less old condo = it's easily $2-2.3K. Commuting in SG has also gone up (bus/mrt) and can go to $3-4.5 per day. The Food in SG - $6/meal is very very very tight. I guess if people work remotely few days a week, and they only need to commute 2 days/week, it's doable. Love all your videos.
Now with the MDAC no need to wait 2 hrs both ways. As someone who has walked across the causeway multiple times. It only takes 30min. So if the traffic is damn jialat even if you cleared using MDAC it would take a max 1hr for goin' to and fro if you walk and decide not to wait for the bus during peak hours

For middle class and below, absolutely worth it
Not too sure if Singaporeans can even do this visa runs in Malaysia although I’ve seen a few Singaporeans doing this
