    You got it - these things make the area uncomfortable to be in. Can’t stand the shrieks they make.

    Thanks for the help. I will have yo try this. Get video. I am living a nightmare with this last season they destroyed my solar blanket I had to buy another one. Now they are back even with the owl. Hope it works.

      Same! This is our first year with them, but like clock work the mother feeds the babies, grabs the poo and dumps in onto the solar cover! Debated removing the nest, but it’s not really the fault of the baby birds.

    Dealing with it yet once again. I also have Arborvitae's lining my property. They also make a mess of the driveway and drop the sacs on the cars. Nothing has worked for me.

    I just bought one. I first tried putting fishing line over my pool. They fly under it. I put up crystals and mirrors and reflective tape around the pool. They land on the pool fence. I got this - a bit late, they have already nested. I am seeing less birds than before. Sometimes I sit on the deck with my hose and when they fly near I squirt them - they fly away. So now I bought a motion activated sprinkler to go with all the other deterrents.

    They also hate sprinklers. I set up a Sprinkler around my bird feeder and they hate it.

    Any update if this is still working? I’d like to know before spending the money. Thanks.

      It does work, but you have to be willing to make slight changes to the sounds/volume and be willing to move this around. Birds are smart and will learn quickly. The best tip is to get this in place before they nest. Once they nest they wont want to leave no matter what.

    Just spray their nests in the bushes with febreeze that you use in bathroom i garantie they will leave you alone, ypu just need to observe where their nests are in the cedars

      We have a lot of very tall cedars, which might be doable with a super soaker but will it harm my cedars?

    How do you move it around when it's electric with a cord and says to mount it?

      I do not mount mine, I just place it in different areas. I also have it on an extension cord to have some extra slack.

    What’s the best setting for grackles?

    • @nextleveldiy
      @nextleveldiy  2 года назад +1

      I cant say for sure, its a matter of using a combination of sounds to see which one works best. Also, works best if you change things up every few days to keep them on their toes.

    Good video, but you should work on eliminat using "ummm" at the end of every sentence. It drives me nuts when my kids do it. Tough habit to break.
    Seriously, go back and rewatch How many times you say um
