Keep believing minka , you'll definitely get it . I also have trouble saying my last name , and I also get nervous to introduce myself. Specially in school
It struck me that the title of the video is: "I can't say my name", yet, the first thing you say in the video is: "Hi, my name is Minka." So you ARE able to say it. I stutter too, and I know stuttering is situational. But what helps me is reframing the issue, for example by saying to yourself: "Sometimes I have trouble saying my name." It helps, because it opens the door to thinking that we absolutely can say everything, it just sometimes takes a while longer. I like your videos. Please keep making them :)
You are so right! It is definitely situational for me. Perhaps I should’ve titled the video “why I can’t say my name when introducing myself in public?” I’m so used to saying that line I hardly stutter when I say it now. Although sometimes I still do. And I always do when I introduce myself to someone in public. I’m glad you love my videos. Have a great day :)
I hate introducing myself!!! I really hate in a school setting because you've got 20 something or more people your age and the teacher basically just starring at you as you struggle to get a sound out. I also have trouble with A and my first name starts with A, so I hate that too. I had a questing: If you're saying the same thing as other people at the same time do you stutter (Ex. The Pledge of Allegiance) or if someone tells you to repeat after them do you stutter?
I've been struggling a lot this year with this, thank you!
You're welcome!
I definitely get that too. It's a bit of a nightmare. The tension you feel about speaking makes speaking harder - a vicious cycle.

Minka Frederika i think that your stutter got better in these past two years
Possibly. It depends on the situation too. Only a few months ago I had to give a presentation and could barely get a word out!
@@MinkaLovesPineapples I love how you were stuttering unlike the other people who's stutter
@@MinkaLovesPineapples I never heard about you're blocking since you've been started this channel
Saying my name on the phone or saying my name in public is very hard. So I can relate. Have a good day Minka.
Definitely agree :)
I can fell your pain brother.
Sometimes when I get in such situations my mind doesn't work properly , and i think of just run from that place.
Believe me, I know the problem. In school I slightly changed my name to something I could pronounce (...).
I thought about changing my name but decided not too!
Isaac Neumann me too, brother.
I think that it comes from us worrying that that person will forever think of us as a stutterer as that was what they saw first.
That totally makes sense to me, yes.

No I NEVER stutter when I am talking with other people at the same time. It's interesting! 🤔
Yeah, maybe it takes out the stress of messing up because chances are people won't hear it? Not sure.
It hurts very much when can't able to say our own name Infront of people 😥
I also can not wish you luck 🙂
