    Absolutely loved how u did a shadowboxing + bag work in real time, i can just follow the movements while the video is still running n build up the skill. This way it's less distracting at first n i can do it freely after getting a hang of it

    Hello, nice video, very helpful. How do you call this stance technique of weight transfer?

  • @SpawnofHastur
    @SpawnofHastur 2 года назад +1

    I'd have to assume that all these jabs can easily be done in full paso pendulo and that you're using the rocking as a way of introducing that style of movement.

  • @SThrillz
    @SThrillz 2 года назад +1

    I use the rear foot trick a lot, works wonders, I thought I was being a genius 😂 but if you mix it with your pendulum and they get caught there's always this confused look 🤣

  • @PAPALAMRecordings
    @PAPALAMRecordings 2 года назад +1

    Very nice. I do something similar with my rear hand, more even on subconscious level. You create the rhythm and then break it with spontaneous attack.
    Never thought of it in terms of jabbing though.
    Could you educate us on throwing power strikes using the same principle?

  • @berndhoffmann4439
    @berndhoffmann4439 2 года назад +1

    Another variation is to subtly slide your back foot forward while your head moves backward/away from the opponent and than push from your back foot with the jab. This creates the illusion of moving away (head) while you actually come closer (back foot). Greeting from Germany ❤

      No problem Darren! Just as long as you have understood the movements. It will open up another dimension to the delivery of your Jab. Almost a Jab on amazon Prime delivery!

    Can the open/square stance be used to create angles at medium to close range? I usually see square stance lateral movement used defensively.

    Coach! I got a story for you. I sparred for the first time ever this past weekend. I had been training cuban style on the bag for a few months watching ur vids. My buddy was 6'3 and I'm 5'9 so my #1 weapon in the match was the head-body jab that you taught in one of your shorts awhile back. I was really able to keep him at a distance if I rapid fired head jobs then did a deceptive body jab, then came over the top with a right cross. A simple yet extremely useful combo. Anyway that was the first time I've ever sparred and I had so much fun. Just wanted to share it with you, thank you for the lessons!
    Here's a snippet of our sparring if you wanted to see it. I'm still very amateur (ruclips.net/video/3LEFeLbGp9E/видео.html)
