My left ear feels neglected
Can we talk about how this is an exact copy of choreography from the actual broadway production like there was little to no creative decisions made in this besides the projection which was off cuz trunchbull was right in forbit if it the whole time
Trent Soto I think it’s cool they do the exact same choreo because they want it to look well done. I’m currently in a production of west side story and we are doing the same exact broadway choreography because it’s amazing- it’s not that we aren’t creative we just love the work they did, it also looks more professional :)
Broadway Trash there’s not a problem with using little bits of choreo or acting choices or whatever else as a basis to build up your production from there I just think that like copy and pasting a whole number is just kinda...meh ya know. We piloted Matilda junior and I played trunchbull so maybe that’s just me hearing the people at MTI saying over and over again that they didn’t want the same chore as broadway cuz it wasn’t right but I agree with them ya know. I mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion and the people in the video are talented and performed it well I just think it would’ve been so much better had they sat down and came up with their own routine as much as possible
This song was choreographed completely from scratch by the LTAS team specially for this production. No choreography from the Broadway version was used- it is completely original! Thank you for your constructive comment!
Matilda just did a flip off a platform
I'm pretty sure Matilda is not in the dance, she just sisngs backstage.
Tea Time Matilda was in this scene when she said that’s not right
Christian Talks Broadway Omg! I just blacked out! She is in this dance, and yes she sings: "but that's not right" on top of all the kids saying "It hurts, I cqnt, but miss, no more!" Thank you!"
