I don’t know what it is but I love learning Latin but pretty much only from this guy. He makes everything you learn practical, it’s the opposite of memorizing charts.

Such a good video... I feel like this is my main problem with learning Latin. Knowing what declension to use. I’ve been so unconscious with English and never really knew how much when into it up until now.

Hey can you please help me solving this Latin questions:
1-How many declensions of adjectives are in Latin?
2-Which adjectives are declined in the second declension?
3-Which adjectives are declined in the third declension?

    • @EasyLatin
      @EasyLatin  2 года назад +1

There are three declensions for adjectives, but most are first/second, meaning that if the noun they modify is feminine, they decline as first declension and if the noun they modify is masculine or neuter, they decline as second declension.
Almost all third-declension adjectives end in "-is" in nominative form.
      fortis, levis, tristis, ...

i think after time in some stage
you will need to memorise all changs for evry dicline
    it is important too
i have been more then a year and half repeating lessons and practicing
and i am still confusing if i tried to make a compleet sentince in latin but now iam used on romance languges i can understand in reading only
    in hearing french is hard
spanish is too fast but some time i get the main farises
italian is good to me i can catch wordes from them 😅
my brother is learning spanish some time i give him an escript or sentince in latin and he said he can get the main subjicts it is amazing that if you learned the mother of any language you can reach to their daughters
as native arab we studeid classic mother arabic in schools only no one made grammers for any local arabic thats why arabs keep understanding each other even if there are more then 200 arabic languages
i said 200 because in my country only we have10
diffrent arabic and there are more then 20 countris using some kind of arabic and still we understand each other in general
exept for those as algiria becaus they use many french words
malta they mix thier language with italian and english and chang pernaunciation
hebrow also change many letters they look like french but i tried to read their scripts and i can get words and cunnict their word to mother arabic and i found many cunnictions

my grand father get married in evry side in my country and had sons in evry town some time diffrent country we meet time to time mocking each other how they have strainge accent but we speaking to each other with diffrent dialect we do not have even need to ask or transulat
it is changing in letters or way or tone or even using diffrent root
arabic depent on shaping the roots some time we have many roots for one meanings but no body need to dictionery we fluuntly gessing the meaning

I can somewhat guess what the first declension of Latin would be like from the knowledge of Proto-Indo-European declension, but the plural declension really threw me off. The dative and ablative plural could have been *-ābus.
