Quick correction: The HM80 is an 80% layout with 82 keys, 84 with the optional split-spacebar. Also, my apologies for the rougher A & B-roll for this video. I got a new recording setup, and I'm still trying to figure out how to set up my lighting and teleprompter properly. So, my apologies for the "rougher" video. I'll hopefully have everything fixed for the next video.
Awesome review. I agree, the color way isnt for everyone but that was one of the main selling points for me (same colors as a gameboy og) + the split spacebar. Not having to hit backspace anymore is a game changer for productivity. This keyboard is great everyday use and performs/sounds better than the 80he imo even if it falls short in terms of software.
See you have a new (fixed?) kin x on your desk. Is that one of the last mousepad reviews coming before the xraypad exclusive? Also if you are looking for more keyboards to try the Nuphy air 75he is pretty awesome, been using it for a few weeks.
Hi! Yeah I have a fixed KIN X, will be reviewing it soon, but I'll still be covering glass-pads going forward as there is no conflict of interest! The 75he is already on my list, will hopefully cover it at some point soon :)
Is there gonna be Hana review in the near future? Recently got one as my first not budget glass pad and i wonder how it feels in comparison to other "high end" pads
I have one but I'm not sure if I'll be covering it due to some external factors, if I don't cover the Hana I'll be covering the same surface on the Polarity pads soon!
this keyboard having an all plastic build and being 220 dollars (not on sale price) makes it way less of a value purchase even compared to the 80HE which has some of the worst value in the HE market currently. if they dropped the price by to around 150 and made an all aluminum version for 200 it would be way more compelling than the current price
Funnily enough they mentioned on twitter there is an aluminum version coming out soon! Hopefully they adjust the price for that version and drop the price of the plastic shell one when it releases.

Great review, btw you can bind the last two profiles to the board by selecting the FN profile then Function > Press > Layer 4 or 5.
