The only thing I can say is just as good, is the TNTeddy from sunset overdrive. Because it is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and the bears are packing heat.
I did some testing and found that if you auto jump and alt glitch while rising into the air, you can buffer a jump which means you can jump from mid air in most places. I don't completely understand how it works but you can change directions mid alt glitch so it might also be possible to buffer a wall bounce but the timing is a lot tighter as I think you would need to hit a wall when you exit it. This means that 2-4 is beatable as you can gain extra height on the edges of the fans, and 2-7 is likely beatable as you can get over the ledge by jumping midair.
That might just be what we are looking for if we can figure out how to pull off the double jump consistently. But we are still just missing a single piece of this puzzle
I respect tofu boy a lot (not peta), like, the ammount of sheer will this dude has to have to go through all this adventure with that fragile body is imeasurable
The lynchpin to opening up the entire game would be a glitch that not only can generate a massive amount of height, but is also possibly anywhere and anytime and to possibly find something like that someone would need to really disect SMBs physics engine for any small bit that could be used in Tofus favor
well if i remember correctly there was a glitch that just changed your world to the last word, the only problem is that you have to dupe warpzone bandages

@@frostyodran5893 its it impossible to complete the game as just Tofu Boy since all bosses and the End lock you to Meat Boy, the whole idea is seeing if Tofu Boy (a literally joke character made to piss on PETA whos so bad that, without glitches, he wouldnt even be able to complete the first level) can beat all platforming levels by pushing the game to its limits with glitches
The only trick I know of is for Theoretical level 5-19; if you get to the final section of toggling blocks, and stand pretty much dead center in the middle of the bottom block as it appears, it will shift you straight up to the top. EDIT: I have discovered a way to beat 2-4. First off, jumping just before entering the first fan's influence increases the height gained, so you can reach the vertical platform up and to the left. From there, Alt glitch to the right and land perfectly on the left side of the fan's platform without dying to it. You can jump into the fan's influence from there, stand on the tiny platform right of Bandage Girl, then Alt to the final fan and win.
Some levels that you deemed "Theoretical" are actually possible, and a few of them can be done without glitches. For example: 4-18. It is possible to jump over the saw blades. The only problem is waiting on the platform after each jump, which thankfully does respawn. Additionally, 5-17 can be done glitchless, and it’s easier than you might think it is. Edit: One, how did this comment get so popular, and two, I apologize for "not understanding" what theoretical meant, I was just saying that a few of these can actually be done, even if he couldn't show it.
For the 4-18 level there's a video from a guy named "Crucrux". He do it with tofu boy but in a different and slowy way without glitches. You can search it as: "tofu boy hell 18". Also, great video man. It's was really fun and impressive to see how tofu boy can beat levels even with glitches hahaha
I have two ideas for levels. First there is a way to just skip to the final world by using warp zones, but I’m not sure if it is possible with tofu boy. Secondly, on the salt factory level two could you jump off the top, face into the tower, alt glitch, and lane inside. I don’t have super meat boy so I couldn’t test but it might work.
Going into a warp zone would break the rules, because it turns you into meatboy (or a special character depending on the warp zone) and you cant change characters
A cool mod for this game would give TOFU boy the ability to use these glitches without having to actually execute them. You could hold a button to alt glitch and see your character at the same time And a button you could press to toggle auto jump.
Gosu Garage made a video completing the game with Tofu boy utilising a midair jump from the alt glitch to beat more levels. I recomend checking that out too
There is a glitch in which if the player saves a replay of completing a level, loads another level, exits to main menu, replays the replay, the level will be considered completed. The game may crash after doing so, but loading up the game again will show that the level was still counted. Unfortunately, I've only tested this on warp zones and on the -1 levels and am not sure if this will work on standard levels.

If i could make a suggestion for everyone for the alt jumps is to use a timer as soon as you do it It could help everyone get the specifics for the jumps that are in the yellow

The alt glitch is actually a thing with how both winapi and smb specially handle some stuff i.e. when you move the window - rendering pauses (not sure why exactly that is but some apps have it)... And that is the reason the alt thing works: it simply lets you have arbitrary frametime, which is uh oh used for most of the game's calculations, especially physics... so i.e. each frame this is being done: position = position + velocity * frametime and that explains how you are able to walk on thin air in this state: the game is just doing one big update, but its not designed to something tells me that you should be able to abuse up velocity too
Isnt it just related to the game being in 0 FPS? This works in another game where taking a screenshot makes the game FPS basically drop to zero for a few seconds so you are able to stack tons of inputs into one frame by simply mashing input keys while the game is at 0 fps. Since Super Meat Boy and the game I'm talking about are both singleplayer games

I'm pretty sure you can complete that upward climb in level 5-19 by clipping into these disappearing blocks and letting them lift you up. Idk how known this strat is, as I'm not really into speedrunning community, but if you stand in the place where these blocks will appear, you'll clip into them. Usually nothing will happen, and you'll be just standing inside of the block, but with trial and error you can adjust your position (while they disappear) to about where your sprite touches the 2nd row of bolts in the central square of these blocks. From this position, the blocks will push you up as they appear. Just be careful to be in neutral position, as any input will shot Meatboy out towards the saws (that can also happen if your character is a bit too far into the block itself) I found this strat while playing dark version of this level, and tbh it's so simple I'd expect everyone interested to already know about this, but idk Or maybe that doesn't work in the OG version of the game or with Tofuboy, and that's why you didn't try it But in case you didn't know about this strat - It's fairly simple, I could provide you with video, but tbh I'm pretty sure you could just manage it from description alone Good luck!
Idk how ALT glitch works exactly, but if you press alt the game keeps your momentum no matter what. So with some madman timing certain levels would be possible. Like before you start falling after a walljump alt glitch to the next "safe zone". On certain levels timing is the key.

I believe that 3-2 could be theoretically possible, Thers a small gap on the wall near bandage girl, if you use steve you can test it. clearly is a gap of air. So if you do a precise glitch you could be between that air gap and the block, and if tofu boy is looking away of the wall, no collision. (I've played this since 2014 in a very laggy AIO[random no clips] and since the video started you speak my language bro)

I'm pretty sure you can complete that upward climb in level 5-19 by clipping into these disappearing blocks and letting them lift you up.
Idk how known this strat is, as I'm not really into speedrunning community, but if you stand in the place where these blocks will appear, you'll clip into them. Usually nothing will happen, and you'll be just standing inside of the block, but with trial and error you can adjust your position (while they disappear) to about where your sprite touches the 2nd row of bolts in the central square of these blocks. From this position, the blocks will push you up as they appear.
Just be careful to be in neutral position, as any input will shot Meatboy out towards the saws (that can also happen if your character is a bit too far into the block itself)
I found this strat while playing dark version of this level, and tbh it's so simple I'd expect everyone interested to already know about this, but idk
Or maybe that doesn't work in the OG version of the game or with Tofuboy, and that's why you didn't try it
But in case you didn't know about this strat - It's fairly simple, I could provide you with video, but tbh I'm pretty sure you could just manage it from description alone

Idk how ALT glitch works exactly, but if you press alt the game keeps your momentum no matter what. So with some madman timing certain levels would be possible.
Like before you start falling after a walljump alt glitch to the next "safe zone".
On certain levels timing is the key.

I'm not sure I follow how the ALT glitch works - what's stopping you from jumping and freezing in midair to drop through the roof in 3-2?
I think it only works with wallslides, from his explanation.

Seems like we would need an entirely new glitch development just to compensate for how terrible tofu boy is.
I believe that 3-2 could be theoretically possible,
Thers a small gap on the wall near bandage girl, if you use steve you can test it. clearly is a gap of air.
So if you do a precise glitch you could be between that air gap and the block, and if tofu boy is looking away of the wall, no collision.
(I've played this since 2014 in a very laggy AIO[random no clips] and since the video started you speak my language bro)
Couldn't you beat Level 4 Chapter 2 by ALT glitching on the fan since the game keeps calculating your upwards momentum?

And i just thought tofu boy was just a big middle finger to peta seriously peta made a tofu boy game and you should never play it it's stupidly hard not because of level design but because of the controls their extremely slippery just play super meat boy if you have the money
