A Texas-based singer/songwriter known for his wide-ranging fusion of pop, rock, folk, electronic, bluegrass, and hip-hop, David Crowder rose to success in the early 2000s as the leader of the church music group The David Crowder*Band. Over the next decade, the band racked up numerous Dove Awards for their inspirational rock sound, releasing popular albums like Illuminate (2003), Remedy (2007), and Give Us Rest (2012). Rebranding in 2012, simply as Crowder, the singer launched an equally successful, though more stylistically varied, solo career with albums like 2014’s Neon Steeple, 2016’s American Prodigal, and 2018’s I Know A Ghost.

My favorite part is when he says, "You built a mighty fortress 10,000 burdens high..." That fortress I built was actually a prison. I was crippled by anxiety and then I let God in and let him tear down the walls. When I finally admitted my weakness, the Lord set me free!

@@TheMissAmerica There is hope. I didn't think I could get out either. For me, it came down to admitting to myself that I have anxiety and going to my doctor. I don't know what you're dealing with but when I finally allowed myself to get help, that's when it all changed. I have lost jobs because of my fear. I let things get behind and then couldn't get out of the hole. But I have learned to ask for help. And above all, pray. The Lord is good and He will take care of you. But you have to let Him. There is hope. Don't give up. Let God help you.

This was played at a childhood friend’s funeral who overdosed. He knew Jesus, but his struggles took his life. “Whatever you’ve done can’t overcome the power of the blood.” 🙌🏼

When I was Young I was Jewish and I loved God so much but when my mom died I hated him and for 8 years I blamed him for all my pain. 3 years ago my friend brought me to church and now I am Christian. I realized that I am the prodical child and because of God I have been found and reborn!

I love this song. My sister in law loved when our worship team played this song at church. She went home to be with Jesus yesterday after a 6 month battle with complications due to heart surgery. She was a fighter and this was her favorite song. I just sat here and listened to it and broke down. I miss my big sister but I know I will see her again.

I feel like everyone should come and watch this during finals week. I had just finished one final I felt like I wasn't going to pass, like it would've taken a miracle from God to pass them.
