Mighty kind of you to post this gem, Hemorrhagea... When KCRW 'neglected' to post the entire video portion of the stream on the MBE page, I suspected it was because Mr. Bentley was "not comfortable" with how the interview went. He obviously doesn't get them, it was the most joy-less interview ever. I called the station and was told that they were having 'some issues' (technical) with the video. Lo and behold, when it was finally posted, they had edited the interview out. Thank you for posting. :)
Even though the audience was kinda dumb, I appreciate the fact that they were responding to the band and laughing. It would have sucked for the audience to be cold and silent.
Andrew has a really playful sense of humor, and he's a little bit awkward, not a lot of interviewers get him. Ben's pretty serious about interviews. Why'd everyone laugh so hard when he asked what they did in their spare times? What did they expect them to say??? And when he said something about Andrew being an avid surfer?
Ben loves Andrew because he's always so amazed at what ends up coming out of his mouth;) This is hilarious! Maybe do a song about robots and all "move" like robots while you play your instruments and singing? Do you wear your cats?lol

They laughed at the avid surfer bit because Andrew couldn't think of any hobbies he has. He surfs as a hobby. It was hilarious.
