Cool segment. Skatepark of Tampa has a lot to do with it too. It has hosted a global pro and am contest for years which is highly respected as a “core” contest.

… and the Skatepark of Tampa having arguably the most important skatecontests every year (Tampa Pro and Tampa Am) is obviously responsible for the longevity of skateboarding in Tampa.
