this video was really helpful. im currently working on a catia project at university and have serious troubles at getting a certain knowledge pattern running.
I was wondering if you could maybe make a quick video on my recent problem. What I want to do is, to create holes in a thickened surface, using a knowledge pattern. I already have set up a knowledge pattern that generates points in a certain distance (controlled by a parameter). Afterwards the pattern creates circles of a certain diameter (also parametric) around the points.
Now I want it to make holes of the same diameter. I guess that should work, using a UDF or a powercopy. But already when I hit the generate button in the UDF Type window, there is an unexplainable error.
Cause of the importance of the project I really need your help real quick. If necessary, I will sure give you further information.
    thanks a lot!

You cannot generate a template type if there is no deployed configuration of applications
