- Another magic afternoon on the water that I won’t forget for a while, my self & Son Miles head out for an afternoon fish in just 6m of water, we get the burley flowing an it doesn’t take long till we have a huge school of hungry aggressive snapper under our tinny!
A few good fish for the both of us then we race home for dinner on the dying light.

Hahaha yeaa yesterday was a good day on the water for all 😎😎 funny how obsessed with fishing Miles is now I think he’s definitely hooked. Just need to get him into a job so he can fund us a big offshore weapon now hahaha 😝

Hey mate cheers for watching! Young bloke loves in an also likes to be independent so I try let him do as much as possible always a good time out on the water learning together regardless if the fish are chewing or not 👍🏻

was so good man, dead quiet i was just telling miles how i think iv got the anchoring wrong as we hadn't had a touch then as soon as sun went down it was just on

Yeeeow cheers Jeremy, I’m still not great at reading the sounder but last night was by far the best return iv got on it.. I couldn’t believe how many snapper where there in such shallow water an they just stayed there, could have caught sooo many if we wanted but there was just no need we had the one we wanted to keep 🤙🏼

I was about 2 mile further out and the conditions were ordinary and all I got was a few skippy and one u/s snapp
@@michaelwest188 yea i spoke to a couple guys at the ramp on way in & everyone said they had a quiet night, it was dead quiet an as soon as the sun hit the water it just went nuts not sure of the reason but I'm not complaining :) just another fluky tin ass tinny session haha

@@rush.gang.fishing yeah, we get out in our 14ft tinny in Nelson, NZ, and catch a few Snapper out of the Mussel farms. My boy(14) caught a 650mm Snapper at 13 yrs, his personal best :)

I'm from Taranaki NZ and grew up fishing out of there with my dad as a young lad, still my best memories from my childhood are being out fishing with dad, I'm just doing my bit to give my son that same experience. awesome how we can film it these days an when we are older it will all be awesome to watch back, congrats on your boys PB Miles is 9 and his best From a few weeks ago is 640mm, theres some big snapper here in perth so fingers crossed he will beat that one day soon :)
epic stuff, what settings is your lowrance on? seems alot clearer than mine
thanks for watching mate! to be honest that was by far the best readings iv got off my elite 9, iv only had it for about 6 months and its still on all factory settings as i don't like to play around with things i don't understand haha. the water as you seen was really shallow so that would have helped, i only fish up to about 20m deep and seems to work well inshore haven't tested in deeper water, it still has the standard 3 in 1 transducer as well :)
