- The definitive look at the history of one of the most aesthetically pleasing but short-lived aircraft to grace the pre-WW2 skies of Europe. This is a lavishly illustrated and detailed book that is typical of the high quality work produced by European Airlines and their full catalogue of books can be found here:

Fascinating, will look out for it, have to get to the DH Museum sometime too.
Thanks! It's a fantastic book and you can see more here:

Great and informative review! I want to ask you about a book that recently caught my interest but I could‘nt find any reviews yet. Do you know the „Ferries of Southern Europe“ series by John May, Miles Cowsill etc. published by „Ferry publications“? Or can you reccomend any kind of book about ferry types/ operators? I would be excited about a review on this topic!
Thanks! Anything by Ferry Publications is guaranteed to be a lavish production. I do have a shelf dedicated to ferry books: ferries, ferry disasters, evolution of ferries and ferry operators. In regards to ferry operators, Kalle Ids' book on Tallink is a fascinating read while "Weymouth to the Channel Islands" by B.L. Jackson manages to balance technical history with a sweeping narrative of the life and times of Western Railway ferry services. I do have one review in the works regarding "Townsend Thoresen" - great innovators undone by bad practices (among other things).
@Captain Phill Reviews Thanks for your information! Looking forward to that review!
I must get that
